What is the benefit of account levels now that rewards are gone from it?

Is it just a number?

I though each level from 51-99 gave you Rewards no?

I earned a lot of Retroactive rewards, thought some of that was through Account Levels

Account Level 99 is just max, i still get 1-2 star bot games here and there, which you would think wouldn't be the norm for being at cap

No fucking clue how their matchmaking works at all now PvE or PvP

So why nerf the others? I play Iggy a lot and when I'm playing against him the counter is REAL simple... Take his turrets out. But they needed him. Counted requires you to pick a totally different character. Insane.

And it's stupid that she can teleport into a tower, one shot you and teleport back out, taking MAYBE one hit from the tower. I think the worst part about her though is that dumb card that makes you invisible. It's dumb.

Iggy can melt multiple heroes at once and not even take a scratch. Each hero has their strengths and weaknesses, and some can play from behind better than others. Countesses goal is to get fed, rotate, and take out squishies. She can dive which is easier against characters with no CC. That's her game. If she playing from behind it's an uphill battle that makes fighting against tanks or junglers pretty much equal death for her. When she is ahead it is best to avoid her at all cost if you have limited escapes and aren't a tank. Although, if you have any bit of CC she is done for because she very squishy.

There are literally cards and characters in the game that counter her. This isn't a Wukong situation where you literally had to go above and beyond to counter him or even pick a Wukong yourself to have a chance. Her win rate is at like 50% for a reason. I think she's fine where she's at. She's just a really good assassin. If anything, Belica needs a slight nerf, she is far better imo.

He still gets those clone stack with shield and life steal setups. He still wrecks towers at will. He needs less clones are less clones that count towards the build up of card abilities.

You can still get back into your game when you've been disconnected.

I have been playing a ton since I started the boost stuff, I got Muriel, and Fey to rank 11, working on Narbash now. I don't know if I have it in me to get a 4th to master skin any time soon. I would like to see what the rank items above the ones shown are.

Right now I don't care about going above 11, and if there are more ranks past the ones shown that may give me a reason to try for it. I only unlocked 11 with the tokens (gold key), and I'm only ranking up characters I had masteries for before the v42 update (don't need to blow tons of rep into them each rank).

I hope they don't nerf solo exp any time soon. Actually I'll be done with it before they try I bet. Fastest exp I've ever gotten in this game, if they had a boost event going it would be even better. I'll make sure to save coins for when they do a bonus exp event actually. Even if solo exp is removed, I'll still be able to zombie co op with their fast wins.

You can rejoin if you DC. Repeated DC and you'll get a short ban with a message telling you to fix your Internet before you come back.

It's a good system, really. If your shit is that unreliable you shouldn't be playing a competitive MOBA.

Daily Quests, Star Chests, and First Win of the Day now reset at 4 AM EDT rather than 22 hours after claiming the reward.

If you dodge a draft its 4 minutes, 3 times, then a 24hr ban.

If you disconnect, quit or go afk and don't return multiple times its a 24hr ban, the more you quit, the harsher the punishment which eventually leads to an account ban.

I have so many skins for this dude. I keep getting chest keys. I was almost down to 1 but got 3 (2+1) in a row with silver boxes. I got back to 6 and am at 4 now. The crates are worthless but you get keys in them sometimes, which could make up for the useless cards. Keys are easier to get than the loot crates.

Just when I started to take advantage of the -2 hours by trying to claim it when possible thanks to a phone timer. I couldn't keep it up though, but I got it out of the AM times today. Oh well, I may have only gotten one extra daily out of it, but now the dailies don't seem too good. The reps are nice if I would spend them (I'll try not to until a character I must rank up or play lightly exists), other than rep it seems like cards, gems, and chests.

I'm happy that the other stuff is on a fixed timer though. Worth it, not knowing when all of those reset was bad. Sometimes things like the quests would have a timer but it seems to only happen when it was 3 hours until the new one starts. Right now my diamond chest reward is not showing when it will be able to be claimed. Before I hit diamond I could see exactly when time was up. It's the little things.

Edit: When the exp daily bonus reset happens I'll try for the worst AI team (whip girl as your carry), and go for a 50+ minute game. I got a long game on the daily exp bonus one time, and got up to 7k exp, but now I can get it on purpose!

Biggest change for me is being able to see power gains on your abilities. Such a minor thing but i've wanted it for so long!

They are opened automatically. It caused problems when patch v42 launched and everyone had a ton of chests to open. Their solution was to auto open them at once. You get no animation, or indicator of what you got, but your stuff should be on your account. Cards (lol), Gems, maybe other stuff.

Finally got Narbash to rank 10, finally a cool looking skin. I don't know who's idea it was to give him that Rival skin. It's the definition of bland.

Thankfully I don't think I want anything from those chests. I play games to grind, if I were to buy all those lolChests, skins, and loot crates + keys I'd have little reason to play.

Well... it's a f2p MOBA. Again, the "rewards" were never the point. It's a multiplayer game. In other MOBA's you have to buy access to each hero, but Epic wanted all heroes to be free for everybody. This is how they're monetizing.

You don't need skins and high level cards to be competitive. They're just window dressing. You've always been able to throw down loads of money for currency and stuff in this game, I don't see how these are anything new.

Yin hasn't had a skin added to her since she came out lol. Not even a Taunt. At least Shinbi got one with the recent patch.

Epic hasn't even boosted / corrected her for the New Dawn update because she went essentially from bring a powerhouse basic attacker to irrelevant status with the quickness. Nobody picks her now.

And she has gotten no activity from updates or patches.

She is supposed to be the ultimate counter for Iggy, and Iggy just melts her at the moment.

I just played a Co op game after so many games of solo where I could extend the matches for great exp, and boy does it seem worthless to do co op games. Pitiful exp thanks to the exp system. The match was about 15 minutes long or less, and the reward was around 1,500 exp.

It was much more fun to be able to play and not twiddle my thumbs as I watch the clock tick for more exp. Twin Blast is a beast.

I think it was a wasted opportunity for reddit to get answers. The questions the were upvoted were questions that had been answered before. Just because you (reddit community) don't like the answer, doesn't mean the answer will change if asked again.

That, to me was frustrating. I'm surprised the "Can we bring back legacy?" silliness wasn't asked.

Tried my luck asking for a partial refund on coins to no luck, which I was fully expecting. But, with losing out on 800 coins I now have no desire to play a game which the devs wildly alter at their will. Uninstalled. Uninstalled the dead Unreal Tournament. Uninstalled the client. Now playing the fantastic Mad Max with Rocket League as my main MP game again.

I do find it pretty funny that with all the complaints about Countess they choose her to start off a 'character of the week' focus. I really like the idea behind what they are doing but, regardless of feelings on whether she deserves a nerf or not, strikes me as pretty tone-deaf.
