Destiny 2 |OT| Here We Go Again

Smiley90

Stop shitting on my team. Start shitting on my finger.
I would say that it's a natural progression of raids.

As we get more and more raids, they're going to be filled with more mechanics, even if those mechanics were used previously in different raids.

Happened with WoW, will happen with this. Not saying it's a bad thing, but it's just a natural progression.

I'm just responding to him saying "based on the last boss, this doesn't seem too mechanistically heavy like King's Fall", while the last boss of Leviathan was by far the LEAST mechanical part of the raid so it's not entirely representative lol

oh yeah. Even the last boss of Leviathan was more intensive than Oryx.

Spoilers aside, am I good to play this raid on my hunter, or am I going to find the usual

Titan, locks preferred, this time not for bubble and self res but for barrier and rift?

Because i'm having a hell of a time with the Arc Strider / Gunslinger Hunter right now :D

This is Bungie. They've long been excellent with lore and would building, and struggled with narrative. Halo 1/2/3 and Destiny 1 all had massive story re-writes deep into production that resulted in a choppy or incomplete story. Since Halo 1, the most coherent stories they've told were in ODST and Reach, and they were good in part because they were focused and straight forward.

So yeah, it's a low bar as compared to Destiny 1. But so far (again, I'm lagging everyone quite a bit), I think this is one of the 2-3 best they've done. There's a propulsive sense of loss and urgency behind the campaign that was lacking even in Halo 3 when much of Earth was glassed. The second mission alone was some of Bungie's best story telling, period.

I positively hate the sound effects in this game. My sound is fine with Skyrim/Fallout/Destiny/etc. so I don't think it's that. The sound of the Hunter double jump has this rustling scratch to it that is like fingernails on a blackboard to me.
lol thought I was the only one the audio just sounds bassy... and the the hunter jump sounds weird...
I just added more treble then normal on other games...

I wish bungles games had battlefields sound design

So I'm currently 277 and I've done all the weekly powerful activities for this week (except the Raid). What else can I do in order to boost my light to hit 280+ for the raid?,

Most of the events seem to all drop lower leveled gear to what I have equipped now.

I'm not good enough at crucible to know if it is actually a "good" map, but the new one based on the raid was pretty cool. I don't remember if they ever held a map back like this before, but I thought it was a nice surprise.

Man, I'm like at a wall stuck at 270. Nothing ever drops higher power level. It's always 260-265. How on Earth and I supposed to get the power up anymore?

Also, friend and I looking for a clan on PS4.

You should be fine. 277 is good enough to get through at least the first few sections, and then hopefully you'll get drops in the Raid to get you the rest of the way to 280.
