that person has also uploaded footage of the cap kingdom, the music is literally a danny elfman score for tim burton mixed with the home alone main song.
edit: listened to it again and then checked and it's almost the same as the home alone theme.... sounds great!

The hit in graphics is noticeable compared to 3D World. It might be on par with Galaxy aside from it being a higher resolution. The gameplay looks fun though.
Edit:
To clarify, the game may be technically more impressive in terms of textures, shaders, etc., but the art style is more what I'm having issues with so far. It just doesn't speak to me like the other games. The worlds just don't stand out and the colors palette is less vibrant/cartoony IMO.

Oh man, those videos. Just glanced at each one for about 5 seconds, making the wait for this game even more unbearable than it already is! Can't see this being anything but a GOTY contender, and I haven't even touched it yet.

It really is crazy... plus, the surprise of the year for me: Mario + Rabbids. Also really loving Samus Returns. All in one year. Do not wake me up from this dream. LOL

3D world's environments were several orders of magnitude smaller, and the camera only let you see a fraction of it, not to mention the very simplistic (yet effective) texture work. By comparison, odyssey is much bigger and detailed, though I don't like the lower framerate.
