I missed that, what's the line?

Off camera while Steppenwolf is beating the League and talking about some kind of truth you hear Superman say, "I love truth!" Steppenwold turns around to see Superman flying towards him. Superman says, "And I'm a big fan of justice!" Superman punches Steppenwolf.

Bull. Shit.

BULLSHIT

But going by his other replies,
I thought the JL meets Superman before the fight with Steppen. They said he comes back super confused and there's a bit of a JL interaction with him.

This is why I'm not buying into this bullshit. It seemed like a small screening, yet all these guys are getting right on reddit to post about it, huh? Not gonna listen until the press screenings.

I don't remember that. What I do remember is he also told someone else who asked how the League felt after seeing him return in the battle was that they were relieved he's not evil.

And he comes back thinking he's still fighting Batman for some reason. Apparently even repeats the "Do you bleed?" line.

"There really aren't any great action sequences. Probably the one where a confused Superman comes back and they have to confront him. It doesn't last very long but it has some nice moments."

I really hope the
Do you bleed
line was a joke though. I couldn't exactly understand what that conversation was about.

He really emphasizes that Supes
comes back confused. I was hoping the dude was having a spiritual journey and almost feels the return of life, only to return a badass. Instead it sounds like they tickled his ear and he comes back to life

Here's the post Ash was referring to

Sounds competent, which is a relief

Fuuuuuuck this though
There’s a bit where Flash jumps in the Batmobile and goes “nananananananana” in that 60s way

I sincerely hope this guy is a fake. And not just because he said it was just okay. All the extremely Whedon moments, comparing it to Avengers.... eeeugh. I liked Avengers, its just not what I want out of JL. If its true then my fears since BvS' poor reception has become reality. So I'm just gonna believe that he is a liar.

We as a community thread on this forum have been looking for Justice League impressions. And when these impressions actually come to gaf, we want to fact check them?

If Whedon shat on Terrio's script, I will find him, and I will write a whimsical line while I slap an egg on his greasy face.

Maybe a cardboard cutout will suffice, but still.

I have some connections to the mods over there at DCEU leaks and they're currently looking into the veracity of the particular spoiler impressions posted above. To be honest though, I'm sure what we heard from numerous sources will somehow be tangential to the actual film itself, and I'm sure a lot of what we've been adamant about will eventually make sense in the full context.

Superman being confused at first and fighting the League was a more believable "leak".

If the Flash does that Batman thing I am walking out.

Edit: Nevermind. I'll just stay confused.

Think we all saw this coming didn't we?

I think so. It was never clear in the first place who was going to be the leader as the end of BvS and even the initial trailer showed that the leadership role was split at worse and at best
WW was in a lead role
in several scenes. I don't have a problem with that at all. It's not like the comics doesn't have this setup at times.

That being said. I don't know if it's me being extremely busy with work, family issues, or having my interest in Star Trek and Star Wars renewed but I'm not as excited about Justice League as much as I thought I would. Haven't even read any reactions to early or unfinished screenings either. Maybe because Snyder is not longer involved that's adding to that as well. I want to see it, pretty damn sure I'll be there that Thursday night and Friday night but that excitement leading to BvS, SS, and WW (which is recent) just isn't there. That extends to Thor and Black Panther (which bothers me the most) as well. I should be over the moon for BP but I'm not. Maybe I'm just hitting the limit with comic book films and now I'm just in a mode where I'll see them when they come out, maybe a few times, and no longer care for the possible build up?

And if this is true, Whedon was here to desnyderize Superman : Most of Cavill's footage is reshoots. It looks like they rejiggered his part.

We're talking about a film whose very existence challenges our own sense of priority in the universe.

Eh, the dude is pulling that ratio number out of his ass. Yes it is Whedon's movie now, but the foundation from Snyder is still there.

I wouldn't be shocked if they kept all the action bits and changed/added all the interpersonal stuff because the other stuff has to be set in stone because of the CGI related to it.

I wasn't expecting much from the movie after seeing the trailers to be honest but still think we should just wait for actual impressions from critics like we did for Wonder Woman. At the end of the day, we don't know if these guys are legit or not.

so it's going to be a mess

Well... I mean they went from meddling in the editing room in BVS... to meddling during filming, after filming, during re-shoots, and still meddling now in JL.

I have no idea what to expect. It could be horrific, it could be average, it good be good.

They might be trying to make so many fundamental changes, that it might come off as disjointed. I really wish they just let Snyder do his thing and tell his story. I loved MOS and really enjoyed BVS UC, but I can see why they reacted.
