As a die hard F.E.A.R. fan everytime I see FEAR3 I want to smash the screen.

F.E.A.R. 2 was already disappointing enough, FEAR3 is just straight up cod cancer.

Dead Space 3 on the other hand was at least a fun TPS game with a long meaty singleplayer, it's the RE5 of Dead Space series, fun on solo & co-op but simply not scary at all.

Which is fucking ironic, because after the disappointment that was RE5, Dead Space to me was officially the first real RE game of last gen.

Holy shit you're right! And its worst because I was a huge fan of the game !

But in my defense, technically, Alan Wake wasn't over the shoulder like those games and thats...Technically... Kinda.... Different?

Just pre ordered on the PlayStation Store, and waiting for the pre-load to finish.
Loved the first game, as I love TPS horror. Enjoyed it even moreso than RE5+6, so I was always buying the sequel.

Alan Wake will be one game I'm truly sad and upset we never got a sequel to. I wish they would do a Kickstarter, Fig campaign, anything at this point. Alan... wake up!

Also I'm glad Bethesda got copies out for review, but giving them late Monday night and the reviewers scrambling to play and rush as fast as they can for Thursday morning kinda sucks. This can impacts peoples thoughts. I've hated being in that position myself before.

imo once you get past the janky control and punishing difficulty it's actually a great RE game.

What's worse is that American Nightmare did nothing to tie up any loose ends.

MS need to really reconsider how they're handling Remedy. I, for one, am very upset that I have not gotten my AW sequel in a a reasonable timeframe.

I mean it might not occur but all it would take is a reviewer not taking their time, rushing, getting frustrated, and yeah. Putting reviewers on a 2.5 day crunch on a 15 hour or more game and then to write, edit, record a review. Yeah. Not a whole lot of time. I'd expect most reviews to be from the easy or normal difficulty also, not the hardest at the start.

So VPN unlocking is possible in 11-ish hours? That's around 7pm here, reeeaaally can't decide whether to unlock it early or not lol. I kinda want my first dive into the game be on a weekend so I can play as much as I want to, but I might be busy tomorrow and couldn't play before Saturday.

I've barely played this year, yet I got excited about this upcoming release! Though I wasn't even sure if I'm gonna buy it day one, but what the hell...
Besides the announcement, I strictly avoided everything, since the same method worked out really well for RE7! I can only hope, this one won't be more action, than survival... This was my only problem, with the original TEW, the end became a too action packed.
