It's worse than that because there's no ranked mode in Paragon but people takes it that way.

I don't know much about counters and that stuff, I just play roles and heroes but most people says that Belica is a pretty good counter to Countess. I play both of them and as a Countess I have to be careful of Belica because if she knocks me up I'm probably done.

Sorry that happened. That's not cool. You have a valid complaint on your hands against them for abuse, per our policies. "Not being good at the game" (or, in your case, not knowing what they perceive as game etiquette) is not a reason to report a player (or abuse them). Seriously, report them. We need players in the game being helpful to one another, not pushing people away.

Game looks gorgeous. I haven't played much since after .42 but the bots feel much improved. They wombo and everything. Shinbi will pop her ult at 1 stack late tho.

Thanks for the responses all, I just wanted to vent but I will go ahead and report them once my shift is over. Full disclosure, I unfortunately ended up also giving them a legitimate reason to report me as I promptly quit the match after the verbal assault started a) because I had no interest of getting into an internet shouting match on my lunch break and b) the babysitter needed me to peek in on my son.

Don't report then. It might backfire on you. There is a mute option you can use in the future.

I'm happy that I'm satisfied with just AI or PVE. I tried PVP in this game maybe two times. I didn't have a bad experience with it, a lot of people were new then, but I went to PVE because the searching for players process was a lot shorter (4 vs 9), and solo vs AI is even better, especially since I could extend the time it took to finish games for more exp per hour.

Reporting actually works in this game. When i started the game i got a message saying they got em or something like that lol.

So yea, use the report option if someones a dick or leaves.

Heh, that's good to know. Though in this case, they were the dicks and I'm the leaver so I guess we cancel each other out lol.

Also they have a good replay system. I remember when dudes on my team made a game of trying to get me killed. I could have reported them, and they couldn't explain their way out of it because the replays are always saved. Who knows what other tools Epic has.

PC player and last patch installed. How in the hell is possible they can't fix basic problems for years?!

Visually the game is awesome, I agree. And raw framerate is great too. But let's see.

1. Resolution scale can't go over 100%. Downsampling is standard now. A resolution scale slider that stops in 100 is nonsense.

2. You can't go higher than your native resolution in exclusive fullscreen mode. Same that above. It's bullshit. If every other game can use my downsampled resolutions, why Paragon can't? The only way to use higher than native resolutions is to set desktop to that resolution and then use borderless mode. But then the resolution scale slider can't be 100%. It's totally terrible.

3. First 10 or 15 minutes are a stuttering mess. The game loads every asset and effect the moment is needed. But this produce a lot of stutters until every asset and effect is fully loaded. After 10/15 minutes the game is buttery smooth but it's not ok, because every time I want to play I think, shit, I will have to wait 15 minutes to enjoy the game.... pass. Why can't it load everything before starting the game? That Epic way of thinking ... I don't get it. Didn't have they enough with streaming techniques in UE3 that caused a lot of games loaded the textures late and others had irremediable stutters? We have the same fucking problem in the new Unreal Tournament.

4. UI is a mess. Take a look. Overlapping options that can not be read. Different sizes of buttons. Xbox and PS4 promts mixed at the same time. Duplicate button functions multiple times in the same screen .... the second screenshot shows the same button 4 TIMES!

For me it was very stable 60fps all the time with maybe some small drops to 55ish in heavy teamfights during lategame.

Now it's 55-60fps with drops to 50~ in teamfights and such.

It's enough for me to lock it at 50. I absolutely cannot stand a minimal drop from 60 on PC and I'd rather sacrifice 10 frames for stability.

It's a shame because it ran flawlessly before. I hope they can optimize the new map.

Anyways this game is great. Dropping the old boring slow map and gameplay was the best thing they could do. TPS just doesn't fit a slow strategic long match approach like the RTS MOBAs. It just doesn't.

This is the perfect transition of the genre to 3D. It shits on Smite from great heights.

I just wish they completely removed Morigesh, Countess and Gadget.

It's a beta. But speaking of which, I really want an option to not use that disgusting vaseline filter that they call "antialiasing" in this game. Either give me msaa or allow me to disable that filthy fxaa without making the game look like a pixelated 360p 3DS game.

Man, the update now causes Oculus to boot up when I boot up Paragon, and forces audio to the Oculus headphones no matter what I do. This is some mickey-mouse issue with the Unreal Engine that indie developers ran into a year ago, apparently fixing it is as simple as setting a "VR Check = Off" somewhere in the code. Kind of surprised it didn't come up in testing.

I found setting everything to Medium significantly reduces the stutter and gives me a more solid 60fps. Even that asset loading stutter seems less severe. This is at 1080p with a 980 Ti / i7 3770 / SSD. Still looks really good on Medium. I leave Textures on High too.

The new bots are ridiculous and I love it lol, the Iggy bot is a damn monster. I was Morigesh and it did not go well for me. I just lot my first bots game and it was hilarious. I can't even begin to describe the feeling and moment when bots get orb prime LOL against you. It's so awesome and I love the challenge it brings to playing bots. Now everyone cant ambush one lane just to try and steal each others kills, you actually have to play like it's an actual match. They are stronger, faster, and will even gank you lol! This is great!

Iggy bot is fucking disgusting. If I'm playing a melee character I just avoid him, he hits way too damn hard, and it just weakens me for one of the junglers to come and finish me off. But yeah, it's definitely a lot more interesting now.

No the Iggy bot is worse than pvp Iggy easily. The after burn damage is absolutely disgusting. Can easily take 3/4 of your health if he hits you once. From what I've seen so far every bot game with an Iggy he is 15+ kills and almost no deaths. Bot Iggy is OP as fuck!

Maybe I dont know the current meta or something.. but im on an IMPRESSIVE losing streak.

It should be less demanding then.

It used to run at just about locked 60fps. I moved from PC to PS4 specifically because the performance was more consistent. Now it sucks shit and for what, more junk on the map?

I want the option to go back to the old assets if they can’t get this shit running correctly. It’s a 5v5 multiplayer game set in a static arena that runs at fucking 900p. It’s really not that impressive, technically.

The game is inpressive. Some of the best character models and lighting around. Effects are crazy in this too with particles going off everywhere.

If the visuals don't contribute to its technical aspects, what exactly is on that checklist? Do you consider UT 2k4 to be more technically impressive because you could run it at a higher resolution with a higher framerate using the same hardware?

Mam the latest community corner wasn't well received by reddit at all. It feels like it's getting worse and worse over there.

Wonder what the player numbers are. Has it gone up since v42 or down or is the same.

I dunno what the devs are doing how do you increase the radius of a skillshot that roots other players and not think it's a buff?

I just don't know what game they are making anymore. Makes me sad. :(

Personally with a few tweaks to unstable cyborg the game is the best its been for months.

It needs to be optimized, I agree, but no need to be extreme reductive. If they can get this running at 60fps like before with these visuals and effect it'd one of the more impressive looking and running games on console.

I don't think you can name a game doing some of the stuff Paragon is while aiming for at 60fps.

Lets say your carry gets caught right and your running to him. They are doing a decent job of trying to stay alive until you get there with two on him. You get to the adc and you miss the thunk (dammit!) but you still give him the move speed buff and layer on some healing and the adc manages to get the kill barely surviving. You get no assist tho because your a support and since you missed your dmg and didnt manage to get an auto in (hey maybe you didnt want to take the kill?) you get no assist.

If you play support in Paragon and you are actually playing support the game cheats you hard. You have to KS and take your carries last hits to support.

Dude one game I got off 5 man Narbash ulti and yeah I died but there team MELTED. They got aced withing 45 seconds of me dying and I got NO assists because I didn't care about trading 1 for 5 because if anyone is supposed to die in a teamfight its me if I can peel for my carry.

I win, I may try for Yin's Manat cosplay (joking) but I don't really like her gameplay, she seemed super weak, well I always tried to roll her on the AI team to get easy semi AFK wins for maximum exp farming.

I just need Yin's skin. I'll keep trying for it, the paragon bot was very generous to me on the first day. The last two days it doesn't even know me.

I wonder if Fortnite BR will have events like this eventually.

I played last night and the game felt pretty balanced now that Wukong is currently banded. Wukong was broken when the lastest update hit, saw him melt tanks with no problem. It seems that they just need to get rid Wukong because they can't get him right.

How's everbody getting all the skins? Been playing pretty much like crazy for the past 3 days and only gotten 2 of the very old halloween skins and that was for Grux and Khaimera. Nothing on the new skins.

The drop rate is much too slow.

I've had a total of 12 Shadow's Eve chests, I got a Grux skin and the other 11 chests have all literally been loot crates, FFS.
