I hope they show future Edgeworth this time. Maybe give him a prosecutor pupil to act as Apollo's rival (bye bye, Glavier).

I haven't played any of these games *hides*, so I'll definitely pick up 123HD for my 4S if it gets translated for over here, which I assume it will.

I know 1 is on iOS, but if 1-3 are coming in fancy retina display then I may as well wait.

They will hopefully scrap Apollo and focus on Phoenix for AA5! Let's hope! I also would love some android versions of the HD remakes,

Moving the series to consoles would open up a lot of new possibilities for the series and with the capabilities of the handhelds they could always port the games later.

That said I'd prefer the games stay handheld only but this is Capcom we're talking about so they'll go with whichever route seems the craziest.

It would be alright with me if they don't use any of the already established characters. Make it something completely new and independent. No Apollo, no Phoenix, no Edgeworth, no Blue Badger, no Gumshoe, no Oldbag, no bald judge, no Klavier, no nothing. Someone mentioned a possible female lead and that would actually be really cool. Just as long as she is not another carbon copy of Phoenix and his traits.

I didn't look close enough at first and assumed good ol' Pheonix was back. Although I would be ok with a new cast as long as I get my batshit zany mysteries.

Consoles is a really bad idea, imo. I can't imagine that an AA as a console retail release would still be what it is today. They probably would make it some sort of action adventure game and, yeah, I don't want to see that happening. D;

He's a pretty swell guy in my books anyway.
Honestly the HD version is just making it clear how rough Iwamoto's art for the first three games were before they were converted to sprites. It's probably why they avoided using it so far in the countless versions of AA1-3.

I thought AA 1-3 were already on the App Store in Japan and 1 is out in Europe and America. The HD screens don't look much different. Are the normal versions still there or are they being replaced?

Each one so far has had a new rival prosecutor (Edgeworth, Franziska, Godot, and Klaiver), so it's almost definite there'll be a new one in GS5 as well.

i liked klavier.

I btw hope that the new gamne will feature apollo. maybe throw some phoenix in there, but I think apollo deserves to become a true character

klavier now shows up at each case with a box of chocolates and flowers for apollo, hands you all the evidence, gives you a handy in the court bathroom, argues in your favor in court, and then pays you for a job well done

Go play Ghost Trick if you want something new and independent.

As far as consoles, if Shu Takumi wants to do it for consoles I would trust him to make an amazing experience.

+ I've always found perfect to play AA games before going to sleep, in my bed.

Considering that today's announcements were for Japan, I don't expect we would get an English announcement of AAI2 today.

If Capcom USA/Europe is working to localise it, they will announce it at an English-focussed event.

Phoenix passes the bar again, given the role of protagonist.
Edgeworth, for the first time, gives Gumshoe a raise for his blunder.

The iPad has a 1024 × 768 and the current iPod Touch is 960×640, while 720p is 1280 x 720. While not the exact standards, its pretty close, especially considering the screen size of the devices.
