Anyone playing Quarrel immediately thought of this guy when seeing CPU player ‘’Rex’’ for the first time ?

And man the game is already pretty hard sometimes as I'm not a native English speaker, but this guy annoys me a lot with his 18 point words I never heard of !

An updated version of Wrestlefest with new characters, Mean Jean and classic wrestlers.
Edit-apparently this came out on Ios but is due for XBLA later in year, awesome.

I swear XBLA keeps getting better and better, at this point I'm more excited for the titles there than at retail.

At this point I can actually name more XBLA titles that I'll definitely be buying this year than retail titles. That may or may not change, but it's still pretty amazing.

And dont forget Minecraft is also this spring. Wowza, this could be a huge event for Microsoft in May if they wanted it to.

Hopefully they improve Wrestlefest animations for XBLA.
I'm kinda bummbed Skulls of the Shogun is now pushed back to fall THIS year? :(
Waiting for Awesomenauts to show up... Dungeon fighter as well!
Happy Wars also seems very promising.
Should also be seeing Skullgirls sooner rather than later!

Good to see Indie-game-in-limbo Hurricane X2 also getting a release on XBLA as Kung Fu Strike:

Good thing someone finally funded that game since it couldn't get released on the Indie Channel (it comes from an Asian country not supported iirc).

Given the art style and awkward logo placement, I'm guessing it's meant to be evocative of a Super Famicom game, or a piece of software for one of Polytron's long-forgotten devices, like the Portable Pro. That said, I don't think the intentional gaudiness really meshes with a game so informed by symmetry and industrial design.

I kinda wish Wrestlefest didn't have those filters. Hope there's an option to turn it off and have 1990-style sprites.

It's most likely not a filter at all, just a redrawn artstyle (that's probably done a lot of tracing for the style basis). I doubt they went back and made modern-day wrestlers in traditional pixel-art form for this game, y'know? (Though that would sure be cool if they DID!)

It'd be nice if they'd include the original with it, but is that hoping for too much? (Shouldn't be...)

Yeah, agreed. Always seemed to be an ambitious project, and it's nice to see a brawler in 3D that actually feels like it belong in 3D. Most just make me wish they'd stop trying, and make a classic 2D one, as those always work out better...

I really thought this would be in their Summer of Arcade. Ideally, I'd love to see it like this in their Summer of Arcade 2012:
-Fez
-Deadlight
-Trials: Evolution
-Minecraft.
-Project Draco. If Project Draco goes retail, then Dust...assuming it gets completed soon. :D

Fez doesn't have release date:

Update: Turns out the date Microsoft has listed for Fez is completely wrong. Polytron's Phil Fish has informed us that Fez has no set release date, that the May 2, 2012 date listed on the Xbox Live Marketplace is incorrect, and that the game hasn't even been certified by Microsoft. We sincerely apologize for the misunderstanding and have reached out to Microsoft for comment.

So, I won 1600 Allards thanks to the Lincoln (cars) dashboard ad contest. I saw "First prize" in my email box and got momentarily very excited, but $20 free is better than nothing. I think I will use it on games I've wanted to pricedrop forever that never will, starting with Puzzle Fighter.

I think so few people participate in those things your odds are much better than most contests, FWIW.

Trials Evolution looks incredible but I'm sure sales will be way down from the original because of the decreased visual presence of XBLA content on the new dashboard.
Should still do big numbers straight out of the gate though.
I hope it really comes out in April too. It's one of my only anticipated games for any platform.

I highly doubt that. Trials will be front and centre on the dash upon release, guaranteed.

I think the initial sales will be incredible and will sell at a faster rate initially than the original Trials HD. This is for the reason you mentioned plus the fact sequels are generally more front loaded than the game that built the hype. However, I don't think it won't do as well in the long run because of the overall decreased presence of XBLA on the dashboard.
