I just read on some forum that Dominicali and Pat Fry have returned to Marenello for an emergency meeting.

Any truth to that? if so, any more details surfaced?

They want to make the pitboxes wider so Massa can actually drive in them after retiring without the whole team helping him.

Haven't found a YT link to the BBC race intro. Found the one for the quals but not for the race.
BBC delivering as always, that Bob Dylan F1 remix is very good:

Also, Webber got a pretty hard kick from the both sides on the front wheels with no damage luckily.

Can't find the full race on Sky either. WTF IS THIS SHIT? I had to work on Sunday morning. Damn.

The Sky Highlights are very similar to the BBC highlights when it comes to content, both are extremely good representations of the race.

The Meeting

Domenicali: The car sucks!
Fry: Yep, it does. But I know how we can improv-
Domenicali: Alright, after Malaysia, we'll concentrate on the next season.
Fry: But ...
Domenicali: Pat, that's how we do things here, you better get used to it.

Alonso's a very good driver in the rain too. If outright pace is equalised you should never write Alonso off.

Obvious lack of Lewis in the list of 'good drivers in the wet'.

Kimi is actually very average in the wet (he doesn't have one 'memorable' performance in the wet).

Lewis, Vettel, Alonso and Schumacher are probably the class of the field.

Ferrari backing Massa.
Felipe has certainly been the target of criticism after the race in Albert Park. But the Brazilian driver is used to this situation and remembers well 2008 when after two races – Australia and Malaysia – he had a zero in the points column and many of the media were calling for him to be fired on the spot. Many of those commentators had to change their minds given that only a few exceptional circumstances – from the piston in Budapest to the pit stop in Singapore to cite the most striking examples – denied him the world championship. Felipe knows he can count on the team to do everything, both from the technical and the operational point of view, to put him in a better state to show off his talents – even at the cost of extra work in these few days that separate the Australian race from the one in Malaysia. For example work has already begun in the Sepang pits to prepare chassis number 294, which replaces the number 293 and will be used by the Brazilian in the second race of the season. This choice was taken to clear up any doubts about the unusual performance of his car during the weekend at Albert Park.

problem is whenever people think of wet and Kimi they remember Spa 2008, Ferrari was known to be crap in the wet

Wet or dry Button will be romping to victory.

The chief executive of British Sky Broadcasting ordered a news story to be removed from the Sky News website after an executive producer complained that it had upset Formula 1 racing teams.

Jeremy Darroch intervened after the article, which described a controversial agreement involving F1 chief executive Bernie Ecclestone and two racing teams, appeared on the eve of BSkyB’s inaugural broadcast of the global motorsport.

People familiar with the decision said that Martin Turner, executive producer of Sky Sports new F1 channel, called his bosses from Melbourne, where his team was about to broadcast the season-opening Australian grand prix, to say that the article had caused a strong negative reaction from some F1 teams.

lol, I wonder if these teams will boycott Sky F1?

i know imbiased but vettels performance's in the rain have been pretty memorable.

unlike kimi or lewis.

shumi is just the rain master. so it will be nice to see how those 2 will battle out of it ends up being a wet race.

i might have forgotten a few races but i want to rewatch them, can someone name a good performance from alonso in the rain?

to be honest that guy is in my top 10 drivers, him in a rbr or mercedes would be unfair to others.

matter of fact a vettel alonso duo at rbr would be amazing to watch.

Teams and drivers aren't really obligated to talk to or to allow TV stations to film features with them so it could happen. I can imagine the angry teams telling their staff to ignore requests from the Sky team if anything comes out of it.

that would be glorious.

rewatching the race in 1080 now.

Silverstone 2008 and Japan 2007 are very memorable wet races for Lewis

Lewis would have won this race if it kept on raining, as he was on a one stop, but had to stop again as it dried up and change to inters.

Yeah, lets us forget about Silverstone in 07 or 08 where Hamilton dominated with a foggy visor in the wet and almost lapping everyone. And Massa failing miserably.

Alonso had his moments in the rain, but he surely isn't as consistent in those conditions like the real good ones like Vettel/Schumacher/..

LOL span like a spinning top, 6 times I recollect, if Massa got one point at Silverstone 08 he would be have been WDC that year.

Edit I was there to watch that glorious race live, got a covered grandstand, thank god
