My dog is being put to sleep today. I'm heartbroken.
Sorry to hear that Raw. I dread the day when it is my dog's time to go. He's such an intelligent dog. It almost seems sometimes like he understands pretty much everything I tell him. You become so attached to dogs. You think of them almost as if they were children. That I guess is why it is so hard to take once they die.
I wish that dogs had a greater life expectancy.
