Guess you'll be playing on normal because there is no difficulty setting :\
Really? Ah come on.
Screw pawns then, it gets too easy with them

It is a bummer, that's basically how you need to roll if you want this game to be much fun I think.

Honestly, i'd have no complaints about the game if it wasnt for those sidebars.
I wonder if that red dragon at the prologue is the final boss.
I wouldn't judge the difficulty of the game by the demo, I'm not sure why everyone seems to be.

Most gameplay videos I saw the player was getting wrecked in a couple of shots by bigger enemies and that was with a full squad. Previews have been saying it's tough too, not dark souls tough but still a good challenge.
I'm not so sure that the game is as easy as the demo.
- For one, your characters are most likely over leveled and over equipped. IE: see inventory
- Two, you don't know what level your pawns' knowledge is at.
- Three, the enemies could be weakened just for the demo's sake.
I feel that the griffin and chimera should have more health bars in the final game or you will most likely be doing far less damage with lesser gear.
Since no one else is doing so I'll start, here's my character.

Check a few pages back. :p
Cute character for such an atrocious character creation system.

glad i don't have problems with sidebars. i didn't notice them on my first playthrought. i thought i'd look for them on my next, but i somehow forgot the next time i booted up the game, lol. now i don't even believe they're real.
are you guys zooming the picture on movies with a wider screen or what?
Yes, fighting the Chimera solo is much much more fun and challenging. I hope in the full version with our normal leveled characters and pawns we'll be able to keep this pattern reading fight and the pawns together, because it is more fun to solo the Chimera, but at the same time having those buffs on your weapons are also really cool.Managed to solo the Chimera. The whole scenario is pretty fun by yourself, but that boss was moreso. Instead of it being the pawns + you gang molesting the poor thing you actually have to see the patterns it pulls out. Get out of the ring when the goat is going to put you to sleep, be careful about the snake biting you when you hang in the back, etc.
I really wonder what level 20 here means in comparison to the enemies, because I'd imagine if you just took the class in the demo and added a fire enchantment the boss would still be pretty easy solo.

Yeah it was beautiful watching how the boss react from all the damage.
The cape was soaked with water or blood or whatever they are too from the fight, so badass
I'll never understand people that don't make themselves in games that offer character creation... I don't know why that's so weird to me, but it is.
Anyway, I liked it; enjoyed the Prologue Quest much more when I said nuts to the rift pawns and went at it with my homeboy.
I think I might do that for the full game: Ryanardo the Mystic Knight and Maxon the Warrior, slappin' the shit out of anything that crosses their path.

Here are the ones I made, main and pawn:
I think the character creator is pretty good, especially compared to other titles (Souls games come to mind).
Just beat it, the Griffin battle was way funner than the Chimera.

You could kick Salde off the cliff too, well like literally, it's the only way to kill him... poor man.
Because I'm an ugly mo-fo. Why would I want to look at my ugly face in game? Not to mention it's way too much effort. The only time I ever bothered recreating myself in game was with my Mii.

I heard someone mentioned that you can do combo by pressing buttons in correct timing.
Is there any combo in the demo for the ranger?(I assume the griffin mission is ranger)
All I found was the kicking combo with square button, but I wonder if there is anything else.
Also, Is you class set to ranger on griffin mission, or can you actually change your class when you make the character and the pawn and I just missed it>?
Full body shot of my main and pawn, since I already posted the faces back, I might change the hair color and posture, my pawn stands weird, my pawn is going to stay fucking tall.
Look how skinny my pawn is, someone hire her and give her money for food, thanks.
My main dude is around 50 weight and my main pawn is like 100.
Bros.
lol I spent a crazy amount of time trying to get my main just right. We'll get to design more than one pawn right?
