Yeah I don't understand why every dumbass who major spoils it to the rest of us keep defending themselves like they were right in doing so.
Fucking hell that pisses me off. I'm not easily bothered by spoilers in general, but it's a 10 years wait we're talking about here.

I honestly don't get the huge amount of hype behind this game or the hype behind being one of the first to finish this game.

Just finished Act I (
) and my Witch Doctor is level 16.
Very cool, I'm digging the story so far, at least in how it's dealing with the characters. The end cutscene for Act I was pretty bad ass

Was what he posted really spoiler though? I haven't played any of the previous games, but it was kind of a given right? That's like somebody saying Bilbo finds the One Ring in The Hobbit and people flipping out. Its a forgone conclusion.

still no D3 CE from amazon, but its out for delivery. hopefully it'll be here by the time i get home from work today (3PM).
It was everything else in the picture not the one thing you are pointing out. Good job defending someone posting that in a OT the day of release of a game people have been waiting 10+ years for, especially when there is a specific thread for spoilers.
i normally get my packages around 5-6pm
I don't think people are really freaking out over the last boss identity, this one is a bit of a given. The problem with that image is everything else you can see around it.

I'm 4 hours 18 minutes in and I'm still in Act I. I think I'm at the final dungeon. I've been taking my time and exploring everything, talking to all the npcs after quests, and soaking it all in. I'm in love. The game is awesome. Playing a barbarian btw.
And I'm not worried if the story takes a "nose dive" after Act 2. It's laughable already.

For this game, saying who the final boss is most likely isn't a spoiler. Showing it off in-game along with the final area of the game and whatever else is in the area (missed the image so dunno what it showed precisely~!), however, is.
And even if you don't care about spoilers, it's just common courtesy, really.

I'm not defending it, but I'm just saying it's not worth getting your feathers in a fuss since it was pretty much a foregone conclusion. I could have predicting it three years before the game came out. The setting as well...
It's inconsiderate for sure, but I don't really see the big deal personally.
