First time Morde.. went poorly. Very poorly. I was up against an AP Yi (yay blind pick). I would burst him within an inch of his life, waiting for the ult to pop and he'd just meditate back to full while I beat on him. I REALLY hate AP Yi when I have no interrupt. His jungler was also up my butt and I started 0/5.

But the glory that is Morde farming saved me. I was taking both wraith camps and half my useless jungler's jungle as well as mid. I was about 100 cs over anyone else and once we started teamfighting I was putting out the hurt. Still, the only reason we won was a better late game comp and a very fed Ashe (that'll teach them to spend that much time killing a 0/5 player and ignoring the AD carry).

Still I could have done so much better. That was a rough outing. Went 13/5 Brand (or thereabouts) next game to make myself feel better. I hate getting carried. I want to contribute.

Knock on wood I've been on a pretty good win streak. Only 2 losses in my last 15 or so games. I've shifted gears a bit and instead of focusing so much on how to steer the team to a win (which I still don't have enough experience to direct and most people won't listen anyways), I'm concentrating on my mechanics - cs'ing, dodging skillshots, map awareness, warding like crazy, building around the opponents as opposed to just a boilerplate set of iteams, making good decisions (go in, don't go in, back out, stick around for a surprise attack, etc). It's made me a much better player. There is a lot you can do to help your team when you have your own play under control.

Going to suck so bad when I come back to this game. I bought a new mouse (G700) after I've been using an original Intellimouse for 10 years. It's so different, going to take a lot of getting used to.

Didn't get a chance to update until now. What a terrible idea to play drunk. I went 1-3 in ranked. ;[

You gotta find the balmer peak.

Is all this stuff currently available in the PBE?

Doesnt really matter though since D3 is out and nothing else matters.......

Oh like Ame Ashe's look.

Though not sure how different it is from regular.

I should pick up an ashe skin though... since she's my default ad carry now.

Second game. Their MF started 13-0 against our bot, we straightened her out by yelling GET MF every team fight at each other.

The new champ seems pretty cool.

Abilities:

Hemorrhage (Passive): Darius aims his attacks strategically, causing his to target bleed. This effect stacks up to five times.
Decimate: Darius swings his axe in a lethal circle. Enemies struck by its blade take more damage than those struck by its shaft.
Crippling Strike: Darius's next attack severs a crucial artery. As the target bleeds out, their movement and attack speeds are slowed. Crippling Strike's cooldown is lower the more bloodied its target.
Apprehend: Darius hones his axe, granting him passive armor penetration. When activated, Darius sweeps up his enemies with his axe's hook and pulls them to him.
Noxian Guillotine (Ultimate): Darius leaps to an enemy champion and strikes a lethal blow, dealing true damage. This damage is increased for each stack of Hemorrhage on the target. If Noxian Guillotine is a killing blow, its cooldown is refreshed.

Had a good comeback win tonight.

Early game we split. Our top got owned, but we ganked bot pretty hard. Plus our mid seemed be rather even. Middle game they seemed to be beating us cause my team just had to many stragglers. That being said despite this I had a glimmer of hope when we won the major 5 v 5 team fight. Kept having stragglers though and they were getting fed. They also had a dragon steal.

Pushed into our base hard and someone initiated the lets quit signal. People said no though. Stay through it with our mid being Karth getting some free ult after death kills to help even things out and kept from snowballing/ending things. Then we had a good push mid got to their base. Then we had to b and the pushed back, but we ended up catching them at Barron.

That sealed the deal. We caught them in enough time that we got the ace as they only had Barron down to like 2/3rds health. 3 of us lived, and we ended it right there.

I had a couple of reeeaallly dumb deaths trying to save people, but oh well. I ended up 0/7/27 as Sona.

20 assists as Shen and we still lose. Probably because someone decided to pick Garen even though I was Shen which meant we had no AD carry. Oh and it was Leona's first game so the skillshot misses everywhere.

One day I realized that sadness is just another word for not enough coffee.
Kinda, in the sense that they're both finishers. Axe's is probably better though, since it goes through everything. There is no way to dodge it all, because it purges all buffs before doing its 10000000 damage. Although Darius' ult has a kind of weak scaling.

I love jungle Shyvana. Ganks are weak but if the lanes have some CC, it's great. Lots of presence for lack of a global because of her speed. I'm usually running all over both jungles and harassing the lanes tanky as heck.

Just don't run Shyvana into Cassiopeia. NOT fun at all.

i was practicing fiora jungle with bots yesterday and i can't ever get the timings for ganks right. i am either too low on health or too early. also i am currently jungling without a leash so i don't become dependent on leash.

What an awful Yi. Most likely trolling, he has 480 wins.

He was pretty much a loner. We call him for pushing alone, often ignoring retreat pings when ganks are coming. 30 minutes into the game, he insisted he was following a guide on solomid and was gonna focus on split pushing... but I noticed he didn't have shoes back then!

He actually had two Tiamats, PD and Warmogs. Luckily our Veigar already had over 1000AP. I gave up hope because we got aced and they pushed to our Nexus. During that time, our minions killed their Nexus towers. Irelia spawns and scares off 3 of as others soon respawned. We managed to pick them off one by one and ended up with a 4v2 at their Nexus. Won.

I picked up Morello mainly for Grievous Wounds. Extra AP, CDR and mana regen was nice. I normally pick up Spirit Visage instead, but we needed the Morello passive. Exec Calling sucks for Alistar.

Hate on me, but I actually really like Morello's now as an item against certain team comps. Does wonders against characters like Mundo with crazy life steal. Plus you get some CDR.

i only buy it for the cool down and ability power, everthing else is just extra for me. but ignoring all that i find it a few points too pricy.

Have you had any entertaining or crushing defeats with the smurf team?

I think we are like 14-2 running Revive + Teleport tank team now. The games we lost were due to digging ourselves in a hole early and not being able to climb out. I think one was due to a really fed KogMaw + Anivia combo that was stopping us from having any mobility.

In general our strategy is to have a 5-man gank in one lane right at the beginning to start out with an intimidation factor, then we tele back to our lanes. The main thing with this team is that once it gets to late game, we have both a damage and a huge CC advantage, so if we don't lose early horribly, then we will win the late game. We also drop wards next to all our team fights so that we can Revive and then Teleport back in as needed if we are losing a fight.

It's the perfect lux item. Buy both components seperate early on, get the gp5 and combine it later game.

mhhm i ll try that when i get home. i always buy tome late game on lux. i am thinking about getting CDR boots and codex early game next time. should have em both buy the 10 min /15 mins mark if i am mid and start with pendent. (guessing)

I don't know if anyone watches Ocelote, but SK just lost to ALTERNATE in the IPL qualifiers. I felt so bad for him. He was pretty sad. The guy is fun to watch. He's enthusiastic and has a good attitude (not to mention pretty darn skilled, if a little greedy). He looked like his dog just died.

On the other side, CLG.EU just dominated their games. They are such a good team.

I understand why it's called Elo Hell, now. I've been between 1050-1090 for the longest. Every time I think I got the 1100+ game in the bag, some troll boldly proves me wrong. I know I'm not a terrible player but when I ask for a support, don't pick Mundo.

Twisted Fate is a really good Ranked carry. Practice him some in normals and then move onto Ranked and rack up the wins*.

*Well I'm now 2-0 with him at least.

Jungling is the best role to carry with assuming your teammates don't feed twelve kills because they have the highest influence over winning every aspect of the game. I highly recommend jungling if you have really strong game sense, but weaker mechanics. If you have stronger mechanics, I'd highly recommend an AD Carry or Top Laner.

Nocturne and Shyv I've found tend to be the best junglers at that. Shyvana is good at asserting weaknesses in enemy junglers and players, transitioning into a good tanky deeps. Nocturne pretty much does everything well except hard CC. He's tanky and does damage and can initiate a fight. He can assassinate really well on top of all of this. He's also the easiest jungler to make ganks happen with if the enemy has wards everywhere.

Basically what I'm saying is play Nocturne.

Wait, I'm confused...someone just pointed out that you'd have to be level 30. How are you doing matched team games at low levels, where each team has theme names?

That would explain why I don't sync with Nocturne. I play a lot of junglers that provide hard CC (Jarvan/Maokai/Riven), and generally do well with them. With Nocturne it just always seems to go downhill with me.

Also, I just received Torchlight 2 beta, so I'll be keeping a break from League this weekend... :)

It takes 2 seconds for it to go off? If you're chasing someone those 2 seconds are precious for them to get away.
His kit gives him a pretty significant move speed bonus on players running away to ensure that his fear goes off.
