A mod informed me that the other thread is only an expression of interest for people to coordinate together. Nobody who posts in that thread 'owns' the duties of that thread.

I want to see Solo's MS Paint banners.

Real talk: if I do the OT, it will be very basic and unpretentious, like this or this, like all my OTs. I am not paid to do this shit, nor do I work for WB or have a PhD in graphic design.

More real talk: I don't actually want to do the OT, and think one of OG Nolan GAF (either DM, Speeding, Guzim or Scooter) should do it. But unless one of them says they will do it, or Puddles comes running back, I will give GAF the OT it deserves, but not the one it needs right now.

I'll give the BatGAF Fab 4 and Puddles until July 10 to make a claim on the OT. After that, I am doing it and will post it on July 13, a week from release.

That's too early. Hell, I think a week is too early myself. If I had my way no OTs would go live until the day before release. But GAF's policy is 1 week, so I'll follow that.

See the OT thread. I think its only fair to step down from Skyfall if you are indeed going to do TDKR. Especially where you've already done Dark Shadows, MIB, and claimed Hobbit (although I think you passed that one off, so kudos on that).

But yeah, you can't just claim every single film OT in the forum. Excessive. At least put it to a vote on here or something.

What does it matter who makes the OT? I always thought people did it as a way of giving back to the communtiy. Didn't know people actually strived to make one.

For me its nice to see a posters with a certain enthusiasm for the movie do it. Like, I'm not big on Peter Jackson or the LOTR trilogy, so me doing a Hobbit OT wouldn't be good as it would come from a cynical place.

Not that I would ever do one. No skills or desire to do one. I do appreciate a well done OT though.

Da fuck? If it's a prequel then Riggs and Murtaugh would have to be completely separated in the entire film otherwise it just fucks up the first.

If it's a sequel with Shane Black...dear God. Movie of the forever.

Batman flies the device into the sky, and just like that, in a flash of light in the sky, Batman is gone, forever. The city of Gotham watches as pieces of the Bat fall from the sky, but there are no traces of Batman to be found. Paralleling the opening Prologue scene, "They'll expect one of us in the wreckage, brother" Batman has ejected just prior to the explosion and lands safely far away from the city. He lives on as Bruce Wayne, but Batman is immortalized in his heroic act of martyrdom? IF the city needs him again someday, he'll be there, watching and waiting. The silent protector.

EDIT: Nevermind. Thought that was a reliable leak, not a fan written thing. Sounds like a cool ending.

On an unrelated note, a Skyfall OT done by anyone other than Solo sounds like a missed opportunity. Biggest Bond fan on GAF + dry sardonic wit= Solo.
