2012 NBA Offseason |OT|They said I could become anything so I became multiple sources

Ramon Sessions and Brendan Haywood could end up addressing the Charlotte Bobcats’ needs at point guard and center, the Observer has learned.

Sessions, an unrestricted free agent who finished last season with the Los Angeles Lakers, has drawn interest from the Bobcats, an informed source said. Haywood, a center who grew up in Greensboro and played for North Carolina, will reportedly be waived by the Dallas Mavericks under the NBA’s amnesty clause.

The Mavericks will swallow the remaining $35 million on Haywood’s salary in order to sign free-agent center Chris Kaman. That would open the door for the Bobcats to offer a homecoming and likely a starting spot. Haywood often spends the off-season in Charlotte, working out frequently at Time Warner Cable Arena.

All that could make sign-and-trade discussions between the Bobcats and Indiana Pacers moot. If the Bobcats strike deals with Sessions and eventually Haywood, it’s possible their best course would be rescinding a qualifying offer of about $4 million to point guard D.J. Augustin, allowing him to become an unrestricted free agent.

Wait, it's because you're cheering for Rose's future team, right?
No, I've left behind the sucker slums. I've embraced love and competence. You can keep hoping that the Bulls' FO will eventually make some great moves.

I, however, refuse to support mediocrity any longer. I am a pioneer, an innovator, some even say a hero.

I. . . . . . am. . . . . . a. . . . . . . LAKERS FAN!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm sorry, Seph. I didn't want you to find out like this. You can join us too. I'm sure LakersAGE will make room for you. Don't you want to know what it's like to be on the cutting edge? Making the right moves? Aren't you sick of being just . . . . . . . one player away? Come on Seph, get out of the cave, and stare into the light! You've been looking at shadows on a wall this whole time, and thinking it was good basketball. It's time to step out and see the real thing.

Do me a favor, though. Don't tell Poo. His little heart wouldn't be able to take it.

Did not know NBA guys played Credit Card Roulette for dinner (Ccards in hat, last 1 pulled pays). I lost, but coulda been worse: no wine!

Pretty bad for rookies/minimum wage guys dining with max players.

#2 Team? What the fuck is this shit?

There's only one team that matters to me. Everyone else can fuck themselves.

I can't cheer for a team in another conference in case the Bulls fuck up? I don't have any real loyalty to the Lakers, but I cheer for them as long as they're not playing the Bulls.

What's scary to me is......The Lakers have always been my #2 team....
Come on, Seph, just try it out. The next few days could be very exciting for us. Wouldn't you rather be wondering whether your team is going to acquire Dwight Howard, instead of spending another day thinking about whether or not they're going to sign Michael Redd or pay Asik $15 mil in one year? Jerry Reinsdorf has been taking your money and turning his team into the most profitable NBA team of the past decade, and he hasn't given you a damn thing during that time! It's time to say no more. Come join a team that will reciprocate your effort with real effort on their side. LakersAGE will embrace you with open arms.

Join us.

I remember watching the Penguins play credit card roulette on HBO 24/7 last year. That's even worse since the average NHL salary is lower and there's more teammates to account for.

You can't have a #2 team ala Dream where he roots Clippers and Celtics.

But you can have teams you enjoy watching or don't mind winning as long as it's not at the expense of your own team. Reasons can be you like a certain player or have a connection.

That stuff is okay. But you can't be nearly as invested in it.

And it's perfectly okay to root for certain players, too.

edit: you're always allowed to root against teams.

That's not having a #2 team. Having a #2 team is like "My favourite team is the Bulls, but I also go for the Lakers".

Support your team through thick and thin.

My undoubted team is the Bulls and I have watched through thick and thin. I've suffered through Dickey Simpkins, Rusty LaRue, Marcus Fizer, Brent Barry, Eddy Curry, Dalibor Bagaric, AJ Guyton, and countless other Bulls players. I'm faithful and I'll always be faithful.

Doesn't mean I can't watch the Lakers when they're on National TV and cheer for them when they're not playing the Bulls. This past Christmas, I watched on Wifi on a plane when it was Bulls vs. Lakers and cheered the shit outta the Bulls.

Even the tweatles?

2010-11 was the only season I ever truly wavered. I just didn't want that stupid team to win their 1st season together more than anything. Was a special circumstance, but I didn't actually root for the Celtics.

This season I definitely didn't want the Celtics in the NBA Finals without the Lakers there. Rather the Heat win. Shit sports town, anyway, so whatever. Lebron losing all the time was funny, but it's not as bad as Celtics winning another.

It's time to stop suffering, Seph. It's time to stop suffering.

You can make the Lakers your #1 team, and the Bulls your 2nd.

Fair enough, I on the other hand don't mind the celtics winning as long as it's not at the expense of the lakers. I really would like KG to win one more. As of now my hate for the heat surpasses all other hate i have.....

Poor unnecessarily loyal fool.

You'll have to go down with the ship, then. The wonderful thing about Lakers-AGE, though, is that we're not a vengeful, hateful, bunch. A seat will always be here for you, Seph. Whenever you finally decide to take it.

This part really kills me. You just can't be a Laker and Celtic fan at the same time. This would be like Batman and the Joker getting married to each other.

Okay, fine, I can understand hating the heat more...but to actually want the Celtics to win, in general, blows my mind.

Yankee fans cannot be Sox fans. Bears fans cannot be Packers fans. Laker fans cannot be Celtics fans.

Your position makes me want to punch you in the face. Not that I would, but I feel like I should.

KG was my childhood obsession growing up, as was kobe. I actually modelled my basketball game after his (yay for height lol) Anyway, he deserves one more.

You can like KG. You cannot root for the Cz.

edit: Fuck, after 2008 how can this be possible. It's one thing if you're younger and knew no better since Boston sucked from like 91-2008 (minus 1 or 2 random years) and were never a threat to LA. But after 2008, the way the Lakers lost in 2008, how can there be anything but bitterness towards them.

Well, YNBoth Eh? lol. Seriously, the benefits of not growing up in either of those cities. I luck the animosity towards Czzz as lifelong laker's fans.

Since i never rooted for them then, that would make me either a a) bandwagoner or b) Player fan (like guys were saying i was)

I see it as both.
