Leave that open world out of Alan Wake, unless it fits the narrative.
You know...I'm feeling a lot more positive about the VGAs now. So what if it'll feature a bunch of awful skits and jokes, and likely only praise hardcore, AAA western games. There are going to be tons of awesome reveals, reveals that could potentially shake the industry or at least a section of it. So I'm going into this with a happy, albeit mellow face, and everything will probably come out pretty good.
I don't want any mini games and bullshitting but I'd love to cruise around like in forza horizon.

Ah ok. Weird he mentioned that the VGAs were 48 hours away. That made me think that surprise will happen outside the show.
Despite my instinct, and just simple logic...I can't help but hope/suspect Yoshi's Land is among the big secret announcements. One flaw no Nintendo gamer can deny, is that we are always optimistic, and that optimism leads to absolute, crushing disappointment 90% of the time...tomorrow will be no different...

I searched but didn't find an explicit website where you could watch a spoiler free recording of the show.
I too must watch it after it ends. It'll be watchable online where it was streamed as well as on XBL right after it ends. So I would suggest getting a link to the page where that will happen in advance so you can dodge any announcement news getting there.

Never followed the VGAs and I am curious do they have a reputation to really show something new and unique or is it like magazine teasers where we basicly know everything and just get the 100% confirmation?

I would be very surprised if SE announced a new Legacy of Kain game before showing Thief 4 footage or even a teaser. What I'm trying to say is, I want to see Thief 4 at the VGAs.
