I have some truly dedicated Coaches and teammates! On an off day and Christmas Eve the parking lot at the facility is practically full

Hate him and Pete and the Chickens but great culture there.

Well now we know where and when they hand out the PEDs

why do bad things happen to good fans like us mechdx? why? what kind of god lets this happen?

Niners and Texans clearly do not do enough work in the community bringing joy to the fans! Seahawks and Vikings have the football gods on their side for being upstanding citizens and helping the less fortunate in these tough times.

not too concerned about wussle. our defense came out flat last night, didn't seem like we did anything unique and didn't really have any interest in being there. harbaugh knows a bye week is the kiss of death so he sabotaged his own team, lomas brown style

You are scared and so am I. Russell doesn't panic when there's pressure. I said it during the game. Kap got heat and bailed and threw it away. Wilson keeps his eyes downfield and looks to hit a play. Sando said the joke is he was already watching film for the Rams after the game

He's legit. It's a QB league. He will own the division. A good arm, reading defenses and not shitting your pants is 90% of QB play. His height is far less a detriment than Bustford's not giving a fuck b/c he got his money and pants shitting. Kap sure looked more panicky than lil' Wussel

Same thing as in the GB game, despite the shitty non call. Its no wonder Pete chose to go with him

Can someone explain the NFC east race for me?

Last week the three way tie had the Redskins in first due to a tie breaker. This week the Skins won and both Dallas and the Giants lost.

Obviously if the Skins beat the Cowboys next week they win the division...what I want to know is if they lose how does that give the division to Dallas when they have the same records? Also does a loss eliminate the Skins from the playoffs?

From what I understand, the Skins can still get in as a wild card if they lose and get some help. Obviously the VikeBike would have to lose, and maybe the Bears too.

I'm sure Alex Smith is a huge advocate for tiny handed people all across the country.

Matt Schaub spends time at retirement homes dressed up as uncle Fester to remind old people of TV shows from their youth.

Brian Cushing is opening the world up to the dangers of overtraining.

Its time for a new team to win it that hasnt before.

So Falcons Super Bowl champs?

If you don't have an elite QB that's worth $15m-$20m a year, then you need to be using a low cost one while you try and find the franchise guy. It's stupid to pay average QBs 9m a year when it's so easy to find that level of production for less money

Wonder how much we are going to give Matt Ryan...

Right now the Skins lead the first two tiebreakers:

1)# Head-to-head (best won-lost-tied percentage in games between the clubs.
2)# Best won-lost-tied percentage in games played within the division.
3)# Best won-lost-tied percentage in common games.

If the Cowboys win on Sunday it goes to the third tiebreaker since the first two won't be able to break the tie. Dallas has a better record in common games.

As for the Skins to make the playoffs as a wild card, they need both Minnesota and Chicago to lose.

One bright spot from yesterday:

https://www.profootballfocus.com/blog/2012/12/24/refo-vikings-texans-week-16/

Watt Rolls On

This was likely to be one of Watt’s tougher games of the season, up against an offensive line that, whilE perhaps unimpressive on paper in terms of the names on the depth chart, has been one of the best in the league as a unit. However, Watt made it clear that this week would be no different than the rest of his dominant season, as he turned in another exceptional display (+5.3) that sees his eye-watering season grade climb to an astonishing +92.8, a previously unimagined grade for a player at this position. Watt registered another four pressures this week (1 Sk, 1 Ht, 2 Hu) and added a further two stops in run defense, but was held without a batted pass for the third straight week. Watt has recorded four or more pressures 10 times this season, and if he can replicate the +7.7 grade he earned last week against the Colts in Indianapolis next Sunday, he will become the first player in PFF history to earn a +100 season grade. With the Texans now in a must win situation you can expect Watt to be firing on all cylinders to ensure the Colts’ offense never gets on track.

Him and Dre were the only ones playing with any intensity yesterday.

A decision on the appeal of Seahawks CB Richard Sherman is expected to be announced by Thursday.

he is using the ryan braun excuse with chain of custody and so on. i'm not sure what his argument is. that someone purposely tampered with his test? if you were hearing this appeal as the league, and it just so happens that a fellow DB (browner) was suspended and took his punishment, what are the odds that sherman did not partake in this PED? i mean come on

His argument is that they screwed up the process and potentially tainted the test. As for the bolded, I don't think they would actually be able to take that into account, even though the public will. They'd have to look at it in a vacuum to be fair (lol NFL being fair).

Damn we got our ass handed to us last night. I still watched the whole game though!

Playcalling was Jimmy Raye bad, completely abandoned the game plan. Although you have to give Seattle credit, they jumped on us early and we never got a chance to establish anything. Props to them.

Wilson played an almost perfect game. Kid is special and it pains me to say it, but the Seahawks found them a QB for the next 10+ years.

Kaep looked like shit yesterday, hesitant with his throws and just doubting the offense. I don't even want to talk about the defense. Yikes.

I hate to see injuries. Manningham is likely done for the rest of the year. VD didn't even get hit in the head (terrible penalty, btw) and he got concussed. Bad night.

I hope we take care of business against the Cards so we can at least get one home game.

Told you FMT, Harbaugh is an underachiever. He always falls just short. Team had a chance to get the bye and take the division, but Harbaugh had them less prepared than a virgin on Prom night.

Just like last year when we lost the division and the bye.

Great insight by Harson, as always.

You should spend more time worrying about your puppet HC then a mans man like Harbaugh.

The New England game took a lot out of the Niners. You sort of expected them to come down a little after their big win.

Yup. Defense spent a lot of time on the field. I think yesterday proved how valuable Justin Smith is to the Niners.
