Have you been living under a rock of something? The latest Pokemon games have been selling nicely so I don't know how you'd come to that conclusion, the fact that you are not interested in the game doesn't mean other people aren't either.

The game's going to look better over time. Game Freak isn't a massive asset machine, but they can at least optimize what they have, smoothen the edges, and bring it all up to a steady framerate. I hope I won't have to worry about that issue.

I have to say that I've been spoiled by the Pokedex 3D models, but I like the way the game looks. It could use a little more polish, I suppose. October is too far.

If you are concerned with your image then that's fine, but for the rest of us we can enjoy something without caring what the rest of the world thinks. If you only live your life to what others think is "normal" you must be pretty miserable.

I can make the same argument about the anime in your avatar.

Pokemon is only considered childish because of the anime. The games are incredibly fun, are challenging, and have depth. Anyone can enjoy them as they please.

I think they're going all over the world now. They might return to Japan for one more region (Sendai-based, most likely), but there's plenty of stuff on each continent for region material.

One thing I'm worried about is if they are going to limit the amount of Pokemon in the game. It must be a lot of work to do custom animations for each Pokemon + attacks. I hope we don't get a Ruby/Sapphire deal where there's only like 200 Pokemon with no way of getting the missing ones. I also hope they have a way to easily transfer Pokemon from the DS versions into X/Y.
