Probably. The singleplayer story was very bad in WoL and I don't think HotS is worth buying for the campaign at all. On reddit r/starcraft I recently saw a mod that recreates Brood War campaign in WoL though. Check that out if you haven't tried it yet.

Play 4v4, sure you might get team mates that complain but it's still a lot less stressful than 1v1. I still see people go 1 base voidrays against 4 terrans in diamond so there's a lot of bad players out there playing.

You should play with GAF folks! We play silly mini games as much as actual matches.

Honestly I'm struggling against the same thing again as I get back into SC2. I had the same condition before and I won against it. It really is worth facing your fears and eventually you will be able to shrug off the losses like nothing and the game will be very fun. Should be easier to do this with HotS as now you got the unranked ladder.

Nope. I'm sure lots of people are continuing with SC2 despite the horrible Diablo 3 experience just because we want to FINISH THE FIGHT in the campaign story. Lol.

Goddamnit the Blizzard downloader is going so fast it's killing my router over and over. Disabled peer-to-peer, let's see if it works better now. Lol.

I'm very excited for the campaign but I couldn't give a shit about the story. The between missions meta game wasn't anything to write home about but the missions themselves were surprisingly varied. I had a lot of fun with it.

I really, really wish blizzard would push the macro/micro concept instead of 2v2's. Team games in starcraft are broken, always have been always will be. They also don't really feel that much like a team game.

For me playing macro/micro feels much more like a team and it is naturally balanced because it is simply 1v1. I would love to see them give it a ladder (even if unranked) along with 2v2, 3v3 and 4v4.

Edit: It also allows players with terrible APM to sort of feel like they're playing like a pro which i think people enjoy.

Well, they can if they want to. Who knows though since playing on the 'wrong' server makes your game laggy. Think of it as owning an account on all the regions, to which you can switch to.

The Global Play means a person in one region can now log into another. But there is no account levelling crossover, meaning you start from scratch on that new region server.

Crossover is a possibility, but if the Koreans really want to get better they'll stay on their own region

Team games are a lot of fun if you're just playing with friends for fun don't get me wrong. I just prefer macro/micro games because they're actually balanced and i find them much more fun on top of that.

You should still try some team games with some gaffers just for some fun .

No global play is down, it seems a very few select people still have global play on their clients and are switching servers to SEA, the only region it is up. The rest of us have to wait until out alloted time or until someone finds a work around.

If that dang Metzen makes revenge against boring old Arcturus Mengsk the focus of this campaign's story... I mean, didn't he write Brood War? Did he just forget everything?

Me too. But as i noted earlier, i can't afford this thing right now. I wonder if Collector's Editions will be available 6 months from now...?

Don't really care for Starcraft 2 multiplayer, i can do OK there if i focus but it is too boring. Not enough interesting or cool units.
Gimme Warcraft 3 with Starcraft skin and i'll be here.
The MP is too... i don't know, macro focused? Too many hardcounters? Anyway, it lacks something Warcraft 3 had.
