these two games were announced 6-7 years ago for PS3. We've been anticipating them so much for so long, and now that they might finally come out for their original intended system, as well as a next gen system, and people should complain about it? Lol, I don't think so.

I have a feeling MS will blow Sony away. Sony seems to be distracted by PS3 and Vita....chasing after dat 80 million install base.

Disagree. I'm one of those people who will take the games that come out of a last-gen system in its final years over the launch games for a new-gen.
God of War 2>Resistance 1, Haze, Lair, Heavenly Sword combined.
Especially if we're getting GTA5, Gran Turismo 6, The Last Guardian, Beyond Two Souls, etc. I am excited for Knack and inFamous, heck even Killzone, but I will never discount the games for the PS3.

If Final Fantasy XV is Versus XIII, then the two games you listed were announced and developed for the PS3. Even if the projects were moved entirely to the PS4, they're not going to redo everything from scratch -- that would be a gigantic waste of money. Additionally, it would be a little disingenuous to announce a game on a platform, and then move it exclusively to another platform afterwards.

Last Guardian was announced 2009. 4 years ago, not 6-7. I know people like to exaggerate but still...they think an evidence or a rumour that a game is in development would mean it's therefore announced at the same time.

I have lowered my expectations after hearing about the disappointing news of TLOU hitting PS3 though....
There's no way that happens. Neither of them are going to be able to blow the other out the water, and both will feature their current gen systems too, even if we don't want them too.
There are three meaningful conferences a year for Sony, E3, GC, and TGS. MS didn't do either of the other two last year, I suspect they'll be back at GC this year, because they'll want a Euro bump, but still skip TGS. The Vita is wholly aimed at the Japanese market, Sony know they don't need to focus on it at E3.
In terms of focus, it'll be very similar conferences.

You don't understand. The conference will start at the same time for everyone, and that time is a fixed number of hours away no matter where you are in the world. Hours are just a smaller unit of time than days, where 1 day = 24 hours. Therefore, if you were to calculate the number of hours between now and the start of the conference, and divide by 24, you would have the number of days until the conference as a result. And that number of days is currently greater than 6.

TLG will be on PS4, if it's also on PS3, who knows, but Sony have dodged the question if it's still a PS3 game, which they wouldn't do if it was, and we've had former Sony employees tell us it moved to PS4, and it's been in development for seven years, and it had clear technical issues, and it'd be stupid not to be on PS4.
GAF users really seem to have their troubles with anything involving numbers
I'm personally absolutely okay with cross-generational games: With performance and image quality of most titles on current consoles being very bad, sharper looking versions of the games I want to play on PS4 are fine with me.

Eh, these systems are so close in spec (and to the PC) that PS4 is going to get most ports by default unless MS buys them away. I'm not too worried about that.

Pop quiz, what "day" does the Sony press conference air in Japan... the 11th.

Yea that 5 days image is just way too early. Saying that there are 6 days until the conference from now seems completely fine though. Because in 6 days, we will be on the same day of the conference.
That's not news. Those boxes have been at that retailer for ages. Wait for an official announcement at this point.

They are sufficiently detailed for PS4, their LOD meant the models were't phtomode quality in game, and now they will be.
It'll be the difference we're all after.
And I just hope that we see something we aren't expecting. Even if it's the Order, atleast we have no fricking clue what that is.
