I'm curious, is the OS running on the 8 core AMD processor or does Sony have a secondary one that does all the OS, streaming and background downloading? Because that UI looks smooth as fuck. I would imagine it takes quite a bit of processing power.

Not at all, but I was expecting more than a cell phone headset. Something like Xbox 360 one where the mic is by your mouth. I hate mics that fall to your clothing. You always have to talk louder to get it to pick you up.

The multi-tasking looks awesome. The actual visual design of the plain blue menus, with lots of overly large boxes scattered all over looks horrible.

Not a fan of the system UI at all. XMB is better if they added multi-tasking and improved friend list stuff.

If I am correct, you should be able to use any mobile headset. I'm sure you have shit loads lying around. This is a very cheap headset, and I guess the reason being the fact that those who can't afford (?) or are lazy to get one will now have a choice, and its this one.

Wait for BUILD later this month. I wouldn't be surprised if the Windows kernel is there to allow easy porting of Windows Store apps.
