I think I'm more than halfway through The Amazing Spider-Man now. I'm sure I'll fulfill my goals this month and complete more than four. That optimism! :D

I'm hopeful of doing this due to the next-gen hype. Gotta clear that backlog so I can get me some next-gen.

Borderlands 2
Hell Yeah! Wrath of the Dead Rabbit
Kingdoms of Amalur
Outland

Not sure if I'll finish them all, but I can try. I finished up Borderlands 2 on Thursday, Amalur is pretty meaty and I'm only halfway through. Still have one DLC for BL2 to finish.

My list:

Tales of Game's Presents Chef Boyardee's Barkley, Shut Up and Jam: Gaiden, Chapter 1 of the Hoopz Barkley SaGa
Demon's Souls
Metal Gear Solid 3 HD
Noitu2 Love

Just finished Barkley Gaiden earlier today. It was excellent! Loved the humor and jank style. And it had a lot of interesting mechanics that never overstayed their welcome. Looking forward to the sequel.

Chrono Cross
Digital Devil Saga
Digital Devil Saga 2
The Last of Us
Breath of Fire III

I beat DDS2 just now. It was my first SMT game and I really enjoyed it. Now to decide whether my next one should be Nocturne or one of the Persona games... ;)

Mugen Souls

Not sure if I'm getting Last of us. If not I am adding Xillia 1 replay (Jude side) and possibly Vesperia PS 3 to the list.

Alan Wake (PC)
Mafia II (PC)
Papo & Yo (PC)
The Walking Dead (PC)

And bonus: Minerva's Den (if I can get it to run without crashing)

I will fail horribly at this.

Let's see if I can do this:

Metal Gear Solid 3 HD
Metal Gear Solid 4
Super Metroid
ZombiU

Went on a Wii U binge yesterday. Finished Assassin's Creed III, Resident Evil Revelations & New Super Mario Bros U, plus the Metroid game in Nintendo Land.

So I've just about hit 4, though none of them were on my list, lol. Oh well, keep trying.

Rayman Origins

Finished 999 up inbetween the conference streams today. Such and amazing game with a really great story. I plan on picking up VLR soon as well to play through that.

Next up I think I'll play through Rayman. I have The Last of Us coming later next week, so I might as well add that to the list. Totally plan on beating that this upcoming weekend.

Uncharted 3 (PS3)
Dragon Age: Origins (PC)
Professor Layton and the Last Specter (3DS)
God of War I (PS3)

Adding on to the list late:
Dragon Age: Awakening

DAO was took up most of my free time so far this month, it's pretty huge. I'm not sure if I'll get to the rest of this right away or move on to the DAO DLC, Awakening would be good to get through. Regardless, really happy to have this playthrough done. It is a huge, daunting game, and now that I've finished my replay I can finally begin on all the DLC I never played. I guess I'll throw a little Layton and Uncharted 3 into the mix though... we'll see how it goes.

Mugen Souls

Finished Mugen Souls pretty quickly:
1) Only did normal ending, not the big grind for the true ending (with youtube that)
2) the free DLC that I used in the end made things go a lot faster

Added:
Last of Us (probably the weekend)
Tales of Xillia 1 replay NG+ (rest of the month)

Finished Last Window.

It is a damn crime we didn't that game here in the states. Also, Claire should be in Smash.

I'm going on a trip for the next couple weeks so Earth Seeker won't be in the cards so my current goal is to finish:

Style Savvy Trendsetters
Fire Emblem Awakening
Shin Megami Tensi: Devil Summoner Soul Hackers

One game down:
Ratchet & Clank: Tools of Destruction

Awesome game, except for some truly awful checkpoints. Loved the weapons, sense of adventure and the banter between characters, especially the pirates! I think I'll replay QfB and ACiT soon...
I've also been playing a bit of Luigi's Mansion 2 and The Last of Us, but I haven't been able to get really into them just yet.

Uncharted 3 (PS3)
Dragon Age: Origins (PC)

Professor Layton and the Last Specter (3DS)
God of War I (PS3)
Dragon Age: Awakening (PC)

Uncharted 3 down. I've played the three games in fairly rapid succession, and this was my favourite of the three by far. The
capsized ship and being left to drift in the desert
were simply too spectacular and memorable. Maybe some day I'll get to play Golden Abyss on the Vita and continue Nathan Drake's tale, but for now I've had a good fill of this game. I'm not sure though, whether to continue on with the games I'd already committed to, or to forge on with The Last of Us. I think I might wait for Last of Us, at least until my new headset arrives. Dat ambiance.

Oracle of Ages
Oracle of Seasons
Resident Evil 6
Dead Space 3

Should be relatively easy to finish all these, re6 and DS3 are both near the end, just haven't played either in months. Made it to dungeon 5 earlier in oracle of ages, such an awesome game. Really glad Nintendo put them on the VC, never had a chance to play them when they first released.

I didn't post at the beginning of the topic, but I have been playing the 4 games I chose. They were:

Jacob Jones & the Bigfoot Mystery
Sound Shapes
Rocketbirds: Hardboiled Chicken
Plants vs Zombies PS Vita

So far, I've completed all but Plants Vs Zombies. FIFA 13 on Vita (trying to get the online trophies before I move and lose internet access for a while) has taken away some of my time though; however, I'm currently at level 4 (heard somewhere that there are 5 levels) so I'm pretty close to the end.

If I finish PvZ in good time (by the end of this coming week) I'll see how many more titles I can complete, or just work on platinum trophies and 100% completion on titles I've already beaten.

Bronetta

Ask me about the moon landing or the temperature at which jet fuel burns. You may be surprised at what you learn.
Dante's Inferno
Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D
New Super Mario Bros U
Devil May Cry HD
Last of Us

Beat DKCR so that's two down. Absolutely flawless and addictive platformer. I can't wait for Tropic Freeze. I'm definitely going to go back to it occasionally to collect all the KONG letters to unlock World 9.

Started Last of Us yesterday so NSMBU and DMC are on the backburner for now.

I'm frustrated with Demon's Souls. I can't even get past the first post tutorial round. I feel like I've tried 10 times and have had no progress. Definitely a hard core game that I don't know if I want to deal with.

Time for Tales of Xillia 1 Jude-side replay / NG+. Should take a good part of the rest of the month. If I make it with a few days to spare I can still think about some short game.

Went on a Wii U binge yesterday. Finished Assassin's Creed III, Resident Evil Revelations & New Super Mario Bros U, plus the Metroid game in Nintendo Land.

Add Mega Man 2 to that list. Working on MM3.

We don't have "get out of jail free" cards, but if we did, she'd have one.
Three down.

  • Germinator
  • Rhythm Thief and the Emperor's Treasure
  • Crimson Shroud
  • Liberation Maiden
  • PixelJunk Shooter (May's leftovers)
Liberation Maiden was okay. Worth the $5 I spent. But ugh, what an ending. :|

I'm currently 1/4. Hoping to make that 2/4 by the end of the day.
  • Hitman Absolution
  • Lord of the Rings: War in the North (Made it halfway through the game in coop, but I'm probably going to complete it alone due to save game issues.)
  • Uncharted 2
  • Uncharted 3 / Kingdom of Amalur

Feeble Files has been dropped - I don't like it. The puzzles are nonsensical and the characters are boring and the art is ugly. Not a good combination of traits for a point n' click game.

Instead, I managed to finish Jurassic Park on the SNES. That's right, a game I first bought in 1994 has finally been completed. And was the ending worth it? Hell no! But I'm happy to have beaten it.

Next up, uh, I may actually try to beat Teleroboxer. I beat all but the last boxer, but in order to fight the last boxer you need to beat all the others without losing a round. Damnit! >_<

AS luck would have it, I'm already two games down on completion :

Halo: Anniversary (Heroic playthrough)
Luigi's Mansion 2

And rapidly getting through Saint's Row 3, I should finish that before the end of the month.

Not quite sure about a fourth game, though. I'm replaying Phoenix Wright, but not very rapidly; I might finish that this month. I've got Call of Duty 2 on the go on the PC, but that's generally only being played for a few hours a week (whenever my housemate has taken custody of the television). I might return to AC3 for the Tyranny of King Washington stuff.

My List:

Alan Wake (PC)
Pokemon: HeartGold (DS)
Just Cause 2 (PC)
Advance Wars (GBA)

I ended up giving up on Just Cause 2. The chaos is fun, but I don't feel like doing 12 more hours of repetitive and uninspired missions.

I switched in Civilization V over Just Cause 2. Just picked it up off of Green Man Gaming for cheap, and I am already addicted.

New list:

Alan Wake (PC)
Civlization V (PC)
Pokemon: HeartGold (DS)
Advance Wars 2 (GBA)

No way I'm going to get my quota this month. Lost a week to E3, summer classes starting up, and ditching Just Cause 2.

Finished The Last of Us, and what an amazing game. Hopefully, I can finally finish up the rest of the games.

- Darksiders I: Completed, can't be bothered with the platinum though
- Infamous 2: Started this a couple of days ago. Bit wacky and fun
- TLoU: When it gets here
- The Cave: Picked it up, still need to complete though.

I think I might have to give up on War in the North for now. I was playing co-op with two friends but a save game error prevented them from joining again after a short break. I'm now forced to play on alone but with enemy ai set for three players :/

Working on for the rest of month and July:

Ratcher and Clank: A crack in time (my lone unfinished PS3 game)

New list:

Getting very close, I don't know if I will finish Advance Wars by the time the month is over. Especially since I picked up Scrolls from Mojang this weekend.

My final game will probably be Thomas Was Alone, an atmospheric and surreal indie platformer available on Steam.

RichardAM

Kwanzaagator
GTA IV (base game)

Paper Mario Sticker Star
Limbo

Hopefully going to be dabbling in Animal Crossing too as well as starting The Last Story.

Got a week to go yet so hoping to pick something else off yet!

Just finished a crack in time. One of my better months in years.

Didn't like crack in time as much as tools of destruction. Of the three R&C games I finished I would put it at the bottom.
