There are so many games on their website that I'd love to see released on Steam or as a downloadable game. There's a lot of good stuff on there. I occasionally think about making a thread to showcase some and raise awareness.
Anyway, Volgarr looks fun and I will probably be getting it right away.

This is incredible! I wish more retro-styled indie games would make retro styled manuals as well

Michael Stearns of Tiny Barbarian put that together for me. I was working on something similar but when I saw his, it was fantastic. Stearns is a fantastic artist and he helped take a huge amount of stress off me during the launch week and deserves much Kudos.

I'll try to see if I can get him a copy from ASG, as for things like Gamegrumps... they seem to respond better when it isn't devs reaching out to them, so who knows. If you guys would like to see them do anything with Volgarr tell them. You might have better luck.

Waiting for it to pop up on Humble. I'm not watching anymore streams or videos. The game looks awesome enough and I don't need all the gameplay spoiled for me!
Should be anytime now! Keep in mind though the DRM Free version doesnt have leaderboards or achievements, but its good practice head start for the steam version if you are into those sort of things

I can patiently wait for the leaderboards and achievements to unlock on Steam tomorrow. Just want something to practice with first!

The game looks interesting, I think I'll buy a copy. One (small) complaint I have is that the colour of the tattoos on Völgarr aren't historically accurate. Viking tattoos were dark green and not blue. When you call your studio Crazy Viking Studios I do have a bit higher expectations on you than other devs.

Giant monsters and double-jumping are entirely historically accurate though!
I blame Odin for removing it all from Midgard.

I have been refreshing the Humble download page like some lunatic
Tried it out with a Dualshock 3. Controls are fucking great. I love how tight they are. Really happy with how this turned out.
Yeah the game is programming at its finest. The game is never cheap. I think DuckTales is the same way, yet reviewers complained about supposed technical issues to hide their frustrations. I bet we get the same here!
And I love these graphics...I know it's supposed to be 16-bit, but I can totally see 32X box art!
