This post pisses me off. When I try to run that game, I get TERRIBLE errors, and the entire game world isn't on screen. Bummer.. i might try again at some point, though.

No, it's Resident Evil 6. I was sort of photoreplying to the hallway shots of F.E.A.R. 2 just above my post, which to me look nicer. RESI 6 looks to be an even worse port than Revelations and I've had to resort to all kinds of SweetFX trickery to make it look somewhat remotely presentable. Textures are a horrid, overly contrasted low resolution mess.

That's about what I expected when I first ran it but for whatever reason it runs perfectly even on Windows 8. Is there a chance that you don't have the game patched? I know Pandemic put out at least one patch before kicking the bucket.

However, it will crash every time if I try and use SMAA injector or a resolution higher than 2560x1440.

Just curious; for those that can run Fallout/Skyrim and other games ENB, how intensive is it on your computer?

I was planning on getting a new comp with 2GB Radeon R9 270X and a 3.4hz quad core CPU, and I was hoping to get it going -- but I heard it can be pretty intensive for even higher end PCs.

It seemed only low or medium settings were activated in Beta.

I wasn't seeing too much change between Low and Medium, and no performance change between Medium and High.

The menu transition Nic mentions is to switch to the in-game menu (ESC) and take a screenshot during the transition when the HUD is removed and before the menu appears. The same thing on the way back. It's a small window but timed right you get a clean shot.

[EDIT: oh, looking back at N1ghtW4lk3R's post he has removed the HUD. He's right though, it would be nice to have this removed all the time or toggle-able.

And when I was back on that last page I saw this, how the hell do you get dual wield? Is that something new?

I used same trick of Clapper, but sometime (very often in truth) game crash while take a shot in transition and i must restart every time. At last, SRWE dont works with DS2 too!

Ahhh Nic Clapper. Gotta love him.

You can actually do a hud toggle with helix which eliminates the annoying menu transition for a screenshot trick, but you still have the character to to hide if you want scenery shots. All in all, the game still lacks a free camera so trying to do crazy amazing screenshots just isn't going to happen.

Some of my best ski trip memories are from weekend trips to the interior mountains like Big White. Haven't skied in years, too warm where I am now for decent snow.
