Does Shadowfall have co-op? It's the one thing this franchise is sorely lacking. I know KZ3 had split-screen, have they gone the whole way and added online this time?

If so then that's a bit of a let down. Is a horde mode really that sought after that they'd devote time and resources towards something like that? This game would be so good with campaign co-op.

AFAIK, if it's not the horde mode they're talking about, then it's not old news. They've only announced that mp horde mode but no actual coop campaign.

I think Gold means that their initial development on the game has ended and it's now being sent to be pressed onto discs, yeah. Obviously there'll be patches incoming and whatnot, and I'm sure a large part of the team will continue to work on it for a few months yet.

It means they have passed certification and the game is in a state that is ready to be printed. Like you said, they will continue to hammer out bugs, but nothing game breaking (else it wouldn't have passed cert).

Does this mean they are now working on the Day 1 patch.

That is par for the course these days, sadly.

On a positive note, it gives them more time to polish the game even while the physical copies are being pressed.

This is easily the best looking launch game so it's good to see them going to press. There will probably be a day 1 patch since the fixes are likely ongoing but it's good to see that it's done as it's my main launch game at retail.

Looking at this make me see and appreciate the years of work gone into making this. Congrats to them.

On a serious note, I hope you guys have fun. My 2nd kid is due a week after launch so the ps4 wont be mine til early December at the earliest. I really cant wait for this game to melt my eyeballs. Then ill play some MP and get super pissed and chuck a controller at something. Good times.

definitely worth a watch. It's a pretty complete play through of the forest level. Shows off a lot of detail I had not previously seen (alternate routes, etc).
