During the reveal there was an Arial Atom type car, I forget it's name, but it's a new rival to cars like the Atom, Caterham 7, KTM X-Bow etc.

Will these sorts of cars be in the game, it would be cool to see the suspension working on the undulating stages. You also state hot hatches will be in, will these be cars like the Golf, Focus etc., or higher end models like the AMG Mercedes A45?

DRIVECLUB only features real world licensed cars, so there won't be any MotorStorm-esque boost or nitro system in the game.

And to confirm everything you see is work in progress, so hopefully every new screenshot or video will look better and better as we get closer to launch early next year. We're working hard to add as much polish as we can across the entire game, but I can't talk about features just yet.

And by the way, expect some more clips reasonably soon ;)

Good to hear! Game is looking fantastic. Nice and weighty.

As a huge GT fan, the more real the better.

You proved that you have never touched a GT game by this post.

You've proven that you are more than capable of jumping to illogical conclusions.

I have played GT games ever since they came out. I've bought all of them actually. I know the difference between Arcade and Simulator, but it's only here on GAF that it matters to people. To the majority, a racing game is a racing game.

There isn't as massive a divide between say Drive Club and GT as there is between DriveClub and Killzone. So I maintain they have no differentiated themselves enough - on a facile level.

Delaying this game could be the best thing Sony has done recently. I'm positive this will be glorious by release. Already looks visually incredible, and intense. If only it handles well and provides a good deal of versatility, which I'm sure it will, it's gonna be fantastic. This is turning into one of my most anticipated next-gen games and I'm not even really a racing fan; GT/Forza couldn't interest me any less. This seems to hit a good balance though, for me.

If this is the sort of improvements we can expect, I think next gen should have been delayed until 2014..

having gone all in for PS4, I was a little disappointed with the DC delay because although it isn't quite my bag, it is a driving game, so I'd have snapped it up.. But if all the niggles are sorted by the delay, then at least it's something to look forward too..

Seriously, this is TRUE secret sauce, these improvements seem so fast.

I applaud you guys!

This game is screaming for free drive mode on the tracks, just to observe the vistas and landscape.

I don't know how many times I've rewatched those snippets of gameplay. It just looks and sounds fantastic.

It would be great to have a steady stream of media and information to keep awareness up until release. I'd be fine if they just lock it at 30 as well and focus on getting weather in at launch.

Impressed!

Graphics, sound, everything. I just hope they continue to work the AA!

Also, love the clip from Norway; where I`m from :p

I'd be in the dick
I am not saying this in a bad way at all but we have not so big devs like,Evo,Ready at Dawn, and Suckerpunch making such amazing looking games its pretty crazy.

I've been saying this for a while too. A lot of the most impressive next gen stuff we've seen has been from teams that aren't as big and haven't been known for tech in the past. We're going to see some serious shit next gen.

Have Evo said how many cars on track?

In the Scotland clip there's 9 cars (incl. yours) the track looks too narrow to have many more than that.

This team is putting out such good work, based on these videos. I can't imagine the stress in their offices when they had to tell the higher-ups that launch day wouldn't be realistic, but I honestly hope falling just *after* the launch window will end up meaning more attention from buyers than they would have (for what was already a fantastic-looking game).

6 moar seconds of new footage: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=536230246461340

A rare glimpse of a #DRIVECLUB stampede in Bandipur, a tropical dry forest region in India. This is another #PS4SHARE moment, showing gameplay captured direct from #PS4.

As well as the lighting upgrade, AI enhancements and audio improvements we've told you are coming, we're about to start improving the reflections in the mirrors too - so this video doesn't represent the final game.
