Ha! True. As high as these review scores are, I can easily see myself not putting my Vita down until I beat it.

Is there a demo for this? The reviews are great, but I'm worried this game is charm-heavy, actual good platforming-light.

You should be fine, I played it entirely on the bus. The only thing that caused annoyance to people was actually that one of the recent Vita updates made it so that the Vita always makes the Screenshot-capturing noise at full volume through the game speakers even if you have the system volume off or have headphones on, and some uses of the camera trigger the screenshot noise.

Do you mean the camera "shutter" noise? That's been there since launch. Does it only do that if the live camera feed is in the picture, or is it whenever you take an in-game photo?

If somebody handed me a game as a gift and it was unsealed, I would assume two things...

1. He bought it second hand, the cheap motherfucker.
2. He had a cheeky session with the game before giving it to me, hence he didn't really buy the game for me but for himself.

Unless your son is really young, I think you should wait.

Weird. I got a txt message from Gamestop saying my pre-order will be available for pickup tomorrow PM.

That be nice actually. It would give me some time to actually play it before Mario & Zelda are out.

Yeah, I got my GameStop text too saying I can get mine tomorrow night. Considering going after work to pick it up and play a bit of it before the non-stop Nintendo weekend begins. Game sounds really cool, but I don't see myself being able to be pulled away from Mario and Zelda, lol!

I didn't have automatic funds on and my wallet was empty the first time it tried to charge. Just went through now! Happy bear. Downloading all that good stuff now in prep. Maybe the LBP costumes will work! Although it's just a 100KB file so I'm guessing LBP needs to update or something... let me see - nah, nothing yet.

Well already an hour and a bit in and wow. What an incredible first impression. The pacing feels perfect. It just keeps surprising with new small touches that make you feel really connected to the world. Loving the music in the first main stage too.

I can already tell I'm going to absolutely love this. Wasn't a HUGE lbp fan, but this is a special game. For sure. Great games to finish up 2013 damn.

This honestly feels like something rare would make in their prime given the vita hardware.

Picked mine up today from GameStop. They said it was no longer street dated, like the 1st party PS4 games. I went in just to preorder it, so I could pick it up at Midnight on Thursday with the Xbox, Mario 3D World, and ALBW, but they said I could have it today.

Level 15-9 of Dokuro can suck it. I'm gonna see about picking my preorder up tomorrow.

Does anyone speak the names Iota or Atoi in the game? I'm going to be pretty peeved if they say it Eye-ota. It will be just as terrible as Leblanck in FFX-2 or Markwiss in FF12
