I'm having the same problem. Talked to both Amazon and Sony. Sony has stopped allowed codes to be redeemed in an attempt to alleviate network traffic. Kotaku now has a story up saying the same thing.
Edit: This applies to the digital copies of AC4 and Battlefield 4 that I bought to then upgrade to the PS4 versions.

I'm definitely signed in, and it doesn't appear in my download list. Whenever I click 'add to cart' a pop-up saying

You need PS+ to add Single Player to your cart.
I take it the multiplayer and singleplayer count as different skus.

Anyone having problems redeeming codes bought from amazon? I bought $60 worth in codes and kz mercenaries, but it only let me redeem the $50 code. When i try to redeem the rest it says that the codes are invalid.

Only as long as they're still offered yes. free games eventually retire as new ones come in.

yes all i did was change the billing address on my account to an american address. got through the purchase and got my codes.

Change your billing address to a phony US address and it should allow you to purchase it. I used Delaware as they don't pay tax.

Man, I get an error every time I try and put in my code for PS+. I hope this gets fixed soon.

Been down about 4 hours now. Getting grumbly, not due to PS+ but game codes I want to redeem.
Well some people seem to have claimed some codes in the last hour or so, I don't know if it's entirely disabled or not? :/

just got 3 codes from Amazon (1 year PS+ and a some funds for the wallet) just getting errors when trying to redeem them. Im guessing Sony's servers are just fucked right now, correct? like tomorrow I´ll still be able to use these codes, right?
Only if still available as others have stated.
This is why it's imperative when you have PS+ to download ALL free games, regardless of whether you intend to play them immediately or not. Once they're in your download list as being purchased/downloaded, you can always download them later for free, even if they're no longer part of the monthly free special.

This is why I 'purchased' all the free games today, including for the PS4 and Vita systems that I don't presently even own.
The only game I can't get 'purchased' is Uncharted 3, as I've noted earlier.

I got two PS+ 1 year codes from amazon US. I tried to add them first from the website, got an error "cant add prepaid card on PC", so got home and tried to add one the PS+ codes in the PS4 store & it just kicks be back to main menu.
I was able to redeem Black Flag and Lego Marvel game which I bought from amazon as well but that was the day before.

No it was from the 3 x bf4's, ac4 and kzsf season pass.

Got further into redeeming my codes, they actually show me what they're FOR now instead of booting me to the menu. Now there's actually an error message, at least.

Lesson learned with gamestop, f*** their online services. I called to speak to a representative and after being put on hold for over a hour the call is lost. When I call back I am told they are closed down for the night. Thankfully I was able to cancel my order, well I think, and order my second one from amazon.

I don't know the exact date, they already changed the games on the euro store. But yeah, you have a month to download them and then puff.

Add all the free games to your cart and 'purchase' them. That way, they are forever tied to your PS+ account, even if you never download them.

So SEN wont be selling it at all. This sucks. Cant get the money to buy it on Amazon until Monday (itll be over) but I can have enough on my SEN wallet to buy it.
I was planning on buying just 5 but I forgot that I had credit for both Walmart and Amazon so I decided to buy a few more.

So what is the deal with this whole waiting until the buy a 12- month get 3 months free thing? How does this work? Just redeeming a code when the sale is active on psn? It seems like you'd have to buy a code directly from Sony in that case.
