Let's not forget some gaffers were betting their barns wiiU would never get a xbone4 multiplat, so I can imagine such news might be slightly annoying to some of them ; )I noticed. Thats why I ask.
Its really annoying when posters act as if news of Wii U's weaker specs just hit the tabloids, just to excuse posting pretend-angry posts at every mention of the system... now over a year after the thing released.

All bickering aside, Slightly Mad have a guaranteed purchase in my house. Perhaps even two, if MW U was any indication (got digital + physical, for the heck of it).
The cost of development has already been paid.
And isn't that basically how every project works? Development studios get paid for their work (supposedly), they don't work 3 years for free and then hope the game sells enough for them to get the money. If it bombs though, after launch support for the product will die and future releases will be in question.
Tell that to Loose Cannon, who developed Tornado Outbreak for Konami, then Konami NEVER PAID THEM! We lost a promising team; they were formed by the CREATOR OF SLY COOPER! :'(
surprised that they are not releasing it on 360/ps3 as well if they are doing a wiiu port though

Yeah, I could have been clearer. The context was that SM have two things that guarantee a sale with me:Not sure of the context, but Most Wanted U was by Criterion, SM did Shift 1 & 2 which never showed up on Wii U.
Every minute spent programming the Wii U version will cost money. The game doesn't code and optimize itself on each platform. So will it be worth the investment?
What?
Development are already payed for through Kickstarter. Every person that buy the game outside the Kickstarter supporters will be profit for them.
Didn't know it was a kickstarter project. Pretty awesome.
That's not going to happen, realistically.I'd love to see Nintendo help them publish a retail version of the game
It was crowd-funded, but not a Kickstarter. The crowd funding was done entirely through their own website, AFAIK.Well it might not have been through Kickstarter actually, all I remember that people could "donate/support" for it. Reached 3.75million Euro funded.
Thread for it: Project CARS (crowdsourcing) racing sim by Slightly Mad Studios (fully funded 3.75M)
That's not going to happen, realistically.
LS for gas/brake, RS for steering. No analog triggers on WiiU means no one should buy this. A racing sim will never work on the WiiU because the controller is not capable of providing an adequate input method.
Not until Animal Crossing U is announced I don't.You don't believe in Christmas miracles?!!
I know it wont
What's that story about?
5) Loose Cannon Studios', a Kirkland-based studio founded last year primarily consisting of ex-Sucker Punch folk that were the creative force behind the Sly Cooper series, debut title is "the most hilarious thing to ever come from King County" and features "mesmerizing art direction." Color me interested even though I can't recall anything real hilarious springing out of King County, so this may just the interactive equivalent of New Love, American Style.
I'm sure I speak for 99.9% of Project Cars fans in saying please ditch the Wii U version, it's a pointless, worthless port, taking away time and resources from the core project(s).
And if you are a Wii U owner, what the hell are you doing playing such a game on that system. At this point, I'm sure Slightly Mad are doing this as some sort of piss take, Slightly Mad would be far better off getting this game out promptly, and supply some cool DLC - I'll give them their due, they know what the community wants in terms of cars & tracks.

Is there any FFB-wheels for WiiU at all?.
If not, i dont see why they should release a simulator to it?.

So do you copy/paste that post in every cross-gen multiplat. Wii U game? .
I play Gran Turismo 5 with face buttons.

Gas on right analog stick, like most sim racers have supported. And some non-sim racers.
Not optimal, but not exactly a new control scheme either.
There is no analog buttons or triggers on the gamepad or pro controller either. If the Wii U version is more than capable then this game is not a simulator to begin with.Is there any FFB-wheels for WiiU at all?.

Why? WiiU is more like Xbone than 360 in design. Pretty sure they mentioned the old hd twins could not pull off enough to warrant what they wanted the game to be.
Is it even coming to Wii-U

.
What, the Wii U isn't allowed to have games, now?
I played Most Wanted U like this (gas on right analog) and it was awkward to say the least. Picked up Gran Turismo 5 and it felt so much better using analogs for gas/brake.
I used to play racing games on gamecube and it was glorious. The digital click on the analogs was great because with the PS3 controller I tend to press way too hard because I feel like I have to make sure I'm flooring it. With the gamecube controller it was always obviously when you had it "floored".
So analog stick gas is doable, but not ideal. No analog triggers always were and still are a faux pas.
