That's what SSAO is for, which you say is currently broken.

You wont get actual dynamic shadows cast while under another dynamic shadow, I don't know of any game that does that.

I suppose I do. What stood out to me was just that things like, the TV, the desk the tv is on, and the ceiling fan aren't casting shadows when they really should be.

I wouldn't get your hopes up. All media for Human Revolution so far has had a distinct lack of shadows cast from props. Im guessing they just never bothered to get the engine to do it.

In Extreme Immersion mod your body parts get injured. So that's the HUD for your limbs. You can probably turn it off but I haven't found a way. When each limb is injured it gets difficult to use, eg: arm is injured, can't aim or leg injured can't run.

It's pretty cool. the feeling of inertia is great, but makes it really hard to play.

Helps a ton with the aliasing around the gun, the hand and the palm leaves, as the shots show -

Re: Crysis with Extreme Immersion and XtremeFX2

I googled and saw there's a huge amount of bobbing about when you walk with the Extreme Immersion mod. Is it possible to get rid of that via config? I get motion sickness from it.

The Extreme Immersion mod does contain gratuitous amounts of head-bobbing and weapon-swaying - while very cinematic, feels nauseous after a while. It's certainly controllable via configs.

My shots up there use just the default amount of head bobbing and weapon-swaying, but were taken while moving. Out of the two mods you mention, I only use the XtremeFX 2 mod.

Fun game, sooooooooo much better than the Xbox version. Anyways, If I set the AA more than 4X multisampling the framerate takes a nice dive. Playing it at locked 60fps this way (every option in-game is set to max).

This has been a great page.

I was thinking of picking up Fable 3 for dirt cheap second hand on 360, but it really does look too nice on PC to go with the console version.

I know that Eyefinity resolutions are usually hated on by GAF but here goes some screens from games at 5760 * 1200, these 2 games really implement Eyefinity well.

Dead Space 2

It has been a completely different experience playing GTAIV.

@zephervack: Can you upload/link to those in full resolution? Would love to modify and make those dual-screen wallpapers! :)

Xtreme FX Mod: http://www.crymod.com/viewtopic.php?f=280&t=61649
Professional RealTime Rendering Quality: http://www.crymod.com/downloads.php?view=detail&df_id=5194 (By default, the HUD is off for this mod. So that means no changing of suit modes, use "cl_hud 1" in console to fix this.)

My only issue with the combo of these mods is the sky is ridiculously bright. Explosions and headshot blood look incredible and unrealistic, which I like.

Thanks for both things! I need to grab a foliage mod though, the greens look very bland in comparison now.

Love how detailed the woolen glove is, with its hole near the thumb.

Another shot with the motion blur and Physx-driven particle effects.
