Some people like to know that a company displays respect to the creators that originally built the legacy of the game series the company is attempting to continue and that they also show respect to the consumers and fans that give them money for their product.
Blizzard has failed at both counts so far and seems to have no shortage of employees willing to broadcast on Facebook that they're in agreement about how much they hate the original creators of Diablo and the fans - whether it's through original posts or liking those same posts.
Some people simply don't want to support developers (or publishers or anyone) that acts that way. There's plenty of games to play without supporting ego-maniacal, customer hating, developers.

It's a shame Blizzard has become such a joke. The best thing about it, is how it's paved the way for a company like CD Projekt to take over the reins of greatness.

While this is true, I would never post stupid / offensive things on facebook because I dont want all my hot "friends" to see it.
Until they become the next to sell out. It'll happen eventually. The pattern has repeated itself more times than you can fathom.

Me either. Then again they haven't exactly made very many, and TW2 was a really nice looking game so you never know what they might pull off in the future.

On a serious note, to those saying why we give a fuck what they are saying: We are paying hard earned money to support products we love. In return, we expect the same level of positivity and love. If we, the consumer, criticize any aspect of the game, we do it cause we have invested time, money and emotions into it. You expects the developers to appreciate our point of view; whether it can be implemented or not is a complete different story but the fact is that all I personally care about is appreciation for our passion.

Same here, but oddly enough I still bought their games. Can't help but love a company that is against DRM.

They still are one of my favorite and no amount of shit talk from management will really change that. Fact is SC2 and WoW provided me with an incredible amount of entertainment and unforgettable moments that few others games this gen did. I played Diablo 3, but I realized the genre isn't for me. Especially when I have no friends to play the game with.
That's the reason I bought the Witcher 2! I was pretty broke at the time but bought it anyway.
