Going from what I've seen and heard. Unless something groundbreaking has happened in the past 4/5 episodes, I doubt the anime has broken the trend of poor characterisation, laughable lore implementation, forgettable characters and meaningless story arcs.
Oh yeah, was just going of the main cast for the new gen. Sadly Mirai is pretty much absent.

So just watched the last episode of shippudden so i could jump to Boruto, and maaan, was that emotional. I was a wreck.
Still, how shitty Sasuke has to be (sending a note: "congratz"), and Sakura there all alone. Poor Sakura, really. Fuck him.

That was filler btw. Pretty much everything after Sasuke leaving was filler. Kind of like how Naruto had 100 episodes of filler after the canon part 1 end.

Saw "Boruto: Naruto the movie". I thought it was solid, a lot better than "the last", really cool animation, love the new kids.

Why Kagura so weak willed, poor guy, I hope Boruto saves him pretty quickly.
I was kind of expecting more Suigetsu moments in the episode, perhaps maybe next episode or later this arc.

I'm still not sure that Orochimaru is the one Mitsuki is talking to. Why would he ask Naruto how he's doing then?
No.
Kakashi anbu arc was good, especially if you like ninja's doing darker stuff plus its only 13 episodes long.
Chikara was also dope because its just a naruto movie in tv form with crazy good animation.
Some one off filler during the war arc is good too like the the episode with the revived sound four and shino and torune.
Some crazy good fights are filler so its hard to dismiss all of it.

As well as seeing how Mitsuki is doing from another source to see if he really is doing okay
Sasuke Shinden is fun.... but that is literally near the end of the anime in terms of episode count

This arc feels like some side quest especially since we just came out of Gaiden a few moments ago.
I just want that Jougan stuff and Toneri. Pretty cool though seeing Boruto have some random affinity moves that he taught himself.

I actually liked this episode, it's better than the previous ones.
This story arc itself has been pretty "informative" and I'd like them to do similar stuff for the other villages. Not necessarily right after this arc though. Pretty sure we'll see Mitsukis's origin soon, probably before Sarada, Boruto and Mitsuki become a team.
I wonder what will happen with the other characters... In Naruto too tons of kids graduated from the Academy but they were never seen again. I remember Kakashi mentioned just few of them would actually become part of a squad? I'm not sure about that but in Boruto the movie Metal has two partners that wear the same uniform he does. I wonder who they are. They probably didn't think too much about it when they put them in the movie but I guess we'll see if they include some of the kids that are part of Boruto's generation in Metal's team.

Chikara is the only worthwhile filler arc.
What Sasuke does in fillers (written by SP) is usually the opposite of what Sasuke is actually like as a character (written by Kishi) so nah.

Can't show you some pics since I'm on my phone. But he has 2 of those: one on his right hand and he other on the palm of his right hand. One of them you can identify in the time skip and the other one you see during that manga chapter where he tried to take down the dude that kidnaped the rich kid. When he tries to do the rasengan but couldn't because of the seal... both seals appear on the wall of the not-Akatsuki hideout. And one of those seals appear on Kawaki's skin too. So either the seals evolve or Boruto may get more than one seal.
