Damn my crappy defense. I'm a bit miffed I feel like I should have had two shutouts in a row! But in both games I got gashed for a huge TD run late in the 4th quarter! Gotta tighten up that run D!

If I could make comments about this game, I would say that EQ seems to make the game kind of random. Last game TO couldn't miss a ball, this game, TO couldn't catch a cold. Last game, my D line were monsters, this game they couldn't get through a wet paper bag. Last game McNabb couldn't miss, but this game he threw str-8 to DBs. Hopefully the randomizer will make Philly good next game.

Konex saw something the play before and to full advantage of it. I would have done the same if I saw it too.

He played zone coverage on his 2 yd line and I found a soft spot. But it was a crazy defensive game though :eek:

On the Bledsoe run, no one was open and I had to get out of bounds. It worked out great though :D

It was no error. He played zone when I was on his 2 yd line and I hot-routed the wide open WR to the outside. Touchdown :p

I had 3 WRs on that side. You had two defenders. That defense just will not work from the 2 yd line cos there is too little time for the defenders to adjust. I simply hot-routed the guy in the middle (who had no one lined up with him) to the corner of the endzone....touchdown..

Gather round kiddies and I'll tell you all a good story.

So Im playing Konex,down 13-0 in the 4th with a few minutes to go.My WRs have dropped wide open passes all game,Konex has run with Bledsoe for 2-3 first downs that just left me saying WTF?BIG MISTAKE!I broke out Big Ben's blazing jets and finally scored a TD,got the onside kick and scored again to go up 14-13,game over ladies.

I didn't have the controller in my hand aside from picking plays the entire 3rd quarter, and what happens,my D gets an INT,lmao.

Like I told Konie,this game is a JOKE.

*sigh* another goddamn loss. gg FMT. I gave up two easy touchdowns cause I played no deep zone coverage for the first 3 quarters, then I drive 70 yards down to your 20 with a minute left and go for my money play (which I knew was going to be intercepted, but I threw it anyway *smacks forehead*) and there's the game ending INT. FUCK. :(

That's the last straw....start warming up, Ramsey, you're in next game.

to be honest the QB ratings in videogames are somewhat deceptive. you see a guy rated a 68, you think he's total garbage. but do you know what one of the top 3 biggest sub-ratings consideration that goes into overall rating is? QB awareness. think about it logically though: what is qb awareness? the knowledge and prescence of the QB... who is controlling the QB at all times? YOU! THE PLAYER! so, depending on how smart you are and how good you are at reading defenses, volek (or rat or BJ or boller or whoever) could feasibly go from a 68 rating to an 80 rating. or, conversely, a guy like peyton manning (manned by that joke of an espn player bob) could go from a 95 to a 20.

im not saying you aren't at a disadvantage using volek over mcnair, but my point is things aren't always as grim as they appear to be. don't pay attention to the numbers. DM tore my defense to pieces with brian griese in madden in our 2nd game of the league. arm strength and accuracy are important, but not as important as the players skill who is using the QB
