Sorry guys stuck at work and can't access the store so could someone let me know if the Batman DLC is for sale please?

i haven't seen any discounts, but not sure since there are lots of Batman games.
Do not worry most discounts last until first week of april so you can check later.

But for example 30 minutes ago the discount for PSN+ members for TLOU Remastered wasn't active and now is.

Picked up Yakuza 5 and Dead Souls.

Tempted by Rogue Galaxy and Mark of Kri - anyone know if either of those got patched to run at 60Hz?

Any word on how Jedi Starfighter runs? Used to love that game.

Well, putting aside that I disagree with you on the complaints being overstated, it would be nice if you could share the current status of your PS2 games since you've clearly played them a lot. At least a few of them seemingly received 60Hz patches later on.

Considering every thread that mentions PS2 games on PS4 devolves into this topic, I'll disagree right back. But sure.

Only the three Star Wars games have been patched to 60Hz. Yet every PS2 game got a patch to fix game-specific issues and make some small changes. For instance, there was originally a generic splash screen of a PS2 console when you load them up, but now they all (as far as I've tested) have a unique splash screen made from official artwork. As for game-specific issues, they're fixing crashes, such as some that appear in the French and Spanish translations of Dark Chronicle. (The gateway to the final-final boss has text in Spanish despite playing it in English -- I'm not sure how that slipped by them.) These patches came out as I was playing Dark Chronicle and I didn't notice any changes -- though I don't notice the issues that technically exist anyway. I'd also like to point out that, in the Digital Foundry analysis of the first PAL PS2 games on PS4, they didn't notice them either until they used their tools to confirm them. I don't play my PS4 games with an FPS counter active, so my enjoyment has been thus far unaffected.

I bought The Talos Principle. Not sure what else I'll get, but I'm tempted by a bunch of others:

Dark Chronicle
Rogue Galaxy
Dark Cloud (maybe)
The Evil Within
Among the Sleep

Pretty solid sale. I had to convince myself not to buy Tearaway Unfolded (I already have the disc version and recently completed it) and I really shouldn't be getting any more PS3 games (sorry Yakuza 5) because the thing is packed away in the cupboard and I don't know if I'll ever get around to breaking it back out.

EDIT - just seen the updated list in the OP. Holy shit, there is a lot of stuff there I'm interested in! Luckily I have about £140 PSN credit which I may need a lot of today.

But for example 30 minutes ago the discount for PSN+ members for TLOU Remastered wasn't active and now is.

OK thanks anyway. I'm only interested in the Arkham Knight stuff as I have all the other games on PC.

Thanks for sharing this information, I really do appreciate it. I knew about the Star Wars games, apparently those stated the change quite clearly in their patch notes, but from what I gather there's more that simply didn't mention the change. Dark Cloud seemingly being one of them. However haven't been able to find if the same goes for Dark Chronicle although it would seem likely considering it apparently happened for the first one.

Since you seem to be less sensitive to these refresh rate issues you might not have noticed though. I REALLY don't mean that as an insult, if anything I'm jealous your enjoyment doesn't get affected by these things.

All I can tell you is that I found Wii U virtual console games to be almost unplayable when they were 50Hz being output at 60. I can deal with 50 on its own but not when it's showing from what I understand are repeated frames as a result of that. The stutter is too much for me.

Is FFX hd any good ? Any notable additions, changes from ps2 version ?

No major changes, fantastic game. Sequel is underrated as well and there you get the 'International' version which originally didn't come here. (FFX International is the version that originally appeared in Europe)

as usual, no Until Da- wait a minute! o_O

Just noticed both Trails in the Sky games are also discounted, if it hadn't been mentioned yet next to the Trails of Cold Steel discount.

Bought San Andreas, Tales from Borderlands and Walking Dead

Tempted to buy some of those ps2/ps4 JRPGS, not sure where to start :/

Just bought Guilty Gear Xrd -Sign-, what a great month for sales! Recently I bought Trials Fusion: The Awesome MAX Edition and Oddworld: New 'n' Tasty too, time to calm down now.

In Euros the DLC is €11.95. The vanilla game is €29.95.

GOTY Edition is €44.95 with Plus which is more expensive than just getting the game and DLC separately. It's €49.95 without Plus which is even worse.

B-e-a-utiful. I have 12€ on my psn account!

edit: bought.

Don't really understand Sony's thinking with the GOTY price given that it was on sale for 50% off not long ago.

I downloaded Dark Cloud again to see how it runs post-patch (I platinum'd it before Christmas in a ravenous frenzy), and the patch notes say they fixed two trophy glitches that fortunately didn't affect me, and they also fixed a graphical corruption, which was this strange green line that would appear over the upper-left side of the screen in some cutscenes. I ran the game, but I guess I'm just not qualified to say if there's any refresh rate difference or not. It runs fine to me, at a much smoother framerate than Dark Chronicle, but the same is true of the PS2 originals.

I appreciate that some people are really sensitive to refresh rates, but I'm also certain that there are people out there who have heard the clarion call to avoid these versions when they'd not only be fine with them as they are, but would actually really enjoy them. I don't think a comparison with the Virtual Console games is really apt, since I've had my issues with those as well. It's plain to see in every thread that these games come up in that a lot of people haven't even given one of these games a chance, to see them running on their PS4 with their own eyes. I would posit that, with these discounts, now is a really good time to pick one that interests you, and give it a stab. You may find that it's not as bad as you have been led to believe. You may find it is, and that's really unfortunate, and I sympathise. I just know that if I had followed the advice to avoid them, and then got them on sale later, I would be really pissed off that I had held off for so long, because I've had a great time with these versions.

Why is it that Until Dawn hasn't been on sale once?!
I want to play this game so much! But not 60€ much.... :(

Edit: scrolling down helps... 40 and I'm in.

Oh goddammit, I just accidentally bought Driveclub Bikes instead of Driveclub Bikes EXPANSION. I feel so dumb now. And it won't even let me download it because I have the base game already, hopefully I can get a refund but I purchased with PayPal. What are my chances of that Gaf? :(

Bloodborne vanilla is €29,99 (not a discount, this is its new price) and 19,99€ for Old Hunters (provisional discounted price €11,99).
29,99+19,99=49,98 which is the discounted price for the GOTY (original price €59,99). This is stupid.

Driveclub + Season pass for £8 seems pretty great. I do want to play a racing game and GT7 is probably sometime off still.
One question: Does the season pass include the bikes expansion or is that unrelated?

If you haven't dled it they'll refund you , Sony updated their refund policy recently.

So the eu 50hz isnt noticeable to most people right?

It's separate.

Does the store say you purchased the Expansion? When I bought it it unlocked both for me.

will now add the telltale collection to my list :D. will wait until the very end, just in case sony is sending out codes or any other reason
