25 hours for a game doing no side content is pretty long.

Remember when FFXV-GAF thought FFXV would last 200 hours? That was fun.

Well those impressions sound great enough to me i will take the plunge and get into the series.
The only real mainline FF game i played was FF 3 on the ds years ago great game. Always wanted to try the series again but never got to it. I have the HD remaster of FFX still laying around guess i should get to that soon after i'm done with FFXV.
I know it's not swanky/humblebrag-worthy like a Porsche, but did I do the "get your car's make in the shot" thing right?

There were people who thought the story would be 200 hours?
...why

Ah, the vague "up to x hours, depending on how much you do". Most likely counting collecting every single bit of useless shiny blue dots, for example.
If the game is nearly as good as I'm hoping it is, I'll probably have more than that. Already 244 hours into Dark Souls III and it was a disappointing game to me.
You crazy man.
Also, I loved DS III, so you double crazy.

That's not main story though.
Pretty easy to see FFXV ranging in the 100-200 hours for some.
I have 9-10 hours in the Judgment Demo alone.

Here's a non-spoilery question for you, as you've finished the game.Impressions everyone is asking for, credit to ray and sora:

When you've completed the main story and get the credits, does it throw you back into the game (so you can go and do side quest you've not competed)
Or when you finish, that's it. You have to start again, and make sure to get all the side stuff done before going to fight the last boss/area.
Thanks for your time.
Can anyone who copped an early copy in SoCal give me a lead on where to go?
That is...surprisingly short even for just a mainline run.
:[
Unless he was going out of his way to just run through it as fast as possible.
Ok. Thanks.I can answer that (he was just posting another user's impressions):
You can save the game after credits and load that save, it'll put you right before the ending, and you can go back to the open world to do side stuff. Not only the ones you left behind, but also some end and post-game content.
On my way to get my copy in Long Beach
. FFXV is real and it's (almost) here!
