Chaos is Gordeau's cool-headed partner and is seen in Gordeau's arcade mode story a few times as an information provider. He summons?/controls? a giant lizard with the book, and looks to be a puppet-style character.
Nanase is a sword-user who supposedly manipulates wind.



There is implication that they're working to get a PS3 version of the game out(they are clearly showing off the game on PS3 in the below recording), but it's not confirmed.

I think the drama between him and Haunts (a FGC leader) probably resulted in a lot of the FGC figureheads (and the FGC in general) rallying against him. That whole situation was such a hot mess on all sides though, both men were obviously good friends who were understandably upset at each other. So what better thing to do than stream the conflict at the bastion of high quality FGC content that was Cross Assault? The whole thing sucked because something that should have strengthen the relationship between Twitch and the FGC only soured it.

Jared perpetuating that esports "gentrification" argument really made it easy to dislike the guy, especially seeing how he should really know better as a twitch employee. Him and gootecks acting like spokespeople for some imaginary segment of the community always confuses me.
