When I made the thread, the EU date was not mentioned. Saw that image with EU date a second after making the thread. Also, the NA and EU dates are usually close enough to not be much of an issue.

However, mods please feel free to add in the EU date to the title.

Sorry, don't want to sound like I'm having a go at you OP, just trying to explain to the other poster why that sort of thing annoys EU Gaffers sometimes since he was being dismissive.

Not like my backlog isn't astronomical, or the fact that my mood stops me from playing games half of the time - FFXII is that good.

If people are wondering why a vocal minority are clamouring about this game, give it a chance this summer. It's fucking amazing that this game was originally on PS2!

These are his characters, sure, but there's a number of things wrong with their proportions, and some of the poses are weird, as has been pointed out. Yoshida's got more technical skills than this. It's also not quite his style, up close. The art's okay, don't get me wrong--I just don't think it's his. Looks more like fanart.

(And if it is somehow Yoshida's, he probably rushed it out.)

I really hope I like this game more 10 years later. I beat it back when it came out, but didn't really care for it. Sometimes revisiting a game after a long time changes my opinion on it (FFVIII and Xenogears are both games I didn't like very much when I played them the first time, but loved playing them years later). I hope going into it with the expectations that the story is kind of boring will make it easier to digest and not be let down.
