Football Thread 2016/17 |OT| Mou Money Mo Pogba

United cheat to earn a point, disgusting from both the ref and united.
Hope they lose in europa league and miss forth place, would be some justice at least.
Really feel for swansea, they deserved far better from the ref today given the situation.

Pretty much what I told a friend. Swansea got hard done by the ref.

Battle for top 4 is crazy. 4 teams pretty much level on points fighting for two places. I'm gonna bet that Arsenal and City scrape in.

Our only saving grace is that City drew too. Just have to hope Robin Hood does the business again.

While it's still all mathematically possible, I can't see United getting enough points from Spurs or Arsenal to take 4th.

Not as good quality but rest are getting copyrighted.

Thank you!

So Rapahael Varane is back for the Champions League match on Tuesday, although I would highly prefer Nacho to start these matches.

Atletico also have quite the puzzle to solve, as all three defenders Vrsaljko, Juanfran and José Giménez are confirmed out of the first leg. Simeone could play with Savic on the right back, or move Koké back which would not be optimal. Gonna be interesting seeing how they'll line up their defense.

It's how hard he hits the ball that is the crazy thing. Dude is able to smash it but keep the accuracy.

Agree. Usually with power, there will be lost of accuracy but this kid is able to hit it scary accuracy too_O_O

Hope Buffon is ready here.T_T

If only they had stadiums ...

Hey, Juve already had their own stadium lol.^^ Now, Roma stadium is coming fast though.^^(Maybe for next 3 years? Well, another 3 scudetto for Juventus is always free muney lol.)

Guess what is starting up on May 6?

Here's hoping Ilocos United FC can compete with the rest, but Global FC seems to be the powerhouse competing in Asian competitions and such.

Great effort from Ox on that first goal. He could've used his left foot or simply moved to block the shot, but instead flails with his right foot and whiffs.

Alan Smith is such a shit commentator, he's biased, boring and has absolutely no insight at all that's worth listening too.

Listening to him try to say how Kane made the most of it for that penalty… he kicked his bloody ankle you fool

Also, Wengy is just done, hope he signs a new deal

Christ knows what Ox was trying to do as well

Is there anyone in this community, who wants to play just normal friendlies (not Ultimate Team) against me in FIFA 17? I don't have a single PSN friend to play against.

I'm not very good and I don't have a lot of free time but Id definitely be down every once in awhile.

Just seen the Rashford dive. That's a shame. I liked him.

Kane's penalty is genuinely one of the best I've ever seen. Impossible to save. If he was in an England shirt it would have gone about 2 yards wide.

Remember when Arsenal was better than spurs?

Well yeah it was just last year.

But seriously, I'm tired of this group of players and the administration as a whole fucking up the Arsenal name. From top to bottom, it's all the bad things about sports in one, shitty organization: lazy players, crusty, stubborn manager, indifferent owner. Everyone's getting paid a ton to be a little better than average then patting themselves on the back for achieving it, and because it's benefiting everyone, nobody is compelled to pressure anyone else to do better.

One of the commentators talked about how "quite comfortable" Ozil is playing for Arsenal when asked of his future, and that really sums up this club: everyone's comfortable.

Top players are comfortable; show up when they feel like it; have absolutely no leadership abilities. Other players are also quite comfortable, despite consistently playing like absolute shit. Geriatric manager is comfortable after 2 decades and making it into the top 4 a lot, but only winning once. Kroenke is comfortable being, well, a billionaire married to another billionaire.

Yup, everyone's comfortable. And that's how you become mediocre. And that's exactly where this club is headed.

So you should know better. These results have left it perfectly poised for us to fuck it all up.

I know there isn't a perfect team, ever, in any league. I don't simply look at the negative. That's too stressful to live like that. I look at things in a positive way.

tbf you could win the FA cup and trophies are what matter

Think they're going to need something special to pull that off.

Arsenals problem ultimately is that they don't look organised and their players don't act like they are, might work against a City team who play without a goalkeeper or any sort of reasonable defence/holding midfielder but clearly isn't working against well organised competent teams

Robbie from @ArsenalFanTV given police escort away from WHL. Literally 50 odd cops. I'm being serious. 😮 Glad he's ok. 👍🏽

Should get a slap for partnering with The S*n, but this has gone too far now.
