I just don't get how a voice can put you off of a game unless it's intentionally annoying. The Jensen voice is great.

True story, I could never finish COD World at War cause I was watching 24 at the time and hearing Keifer Sutherland just took me completely out of the game.

I love Jensen's voice tho.

It's always interesting to go back to a shooter that doesn't flip the fuck out whenever you kill someone. Just a little notifier in the top right of the screen. I've become so conditioned to getting casino jackpot effects at the slightest accomplishment.

I still love those bitchin' guitar riffs that play when you do something cool in Call of Duty.

Really tangential, but I'm extremely curious of what the lifespan of Splatoon will be. People still playing Mario Kart and Smash pretty actively on the Wii U online?

I'm excited for E3 and especially the guys' coverage of it, but man has playing TW3 killed my hype for Fallout 4. Just the absolute breadth of content and the depth of it there, I have extreme doubts that anything from Bethesda will match it. CDProjekt has set a new standard both in terms of quality and quantity of content in an open world game.

Unless I get caught up in the hype which is unlikely, I doubt I'll even get Fallout 4 until most if not all DLC is out.

That's how I've played Skyrim and Fallout 3 so far, and New Vegas one of these days. Maybe that's why I've been unable to understand the fever for it since I'm willing to wait.

I don't know why it annoys me so much, but it does. To me, I feel it doesn't fit the character's image at all.

It's one of those weird things, I can't really explain it lol

To me Bethesda's games always seemed like hollow shells with a lot of quantity but very little craft to it. Back around the time of Daggerfall, when no one else was really doing that kind of game, it was impressive by virtue of its very existence. The fact that the open-world genre is now much more crowded will only make the flaws of their games more apparent.

I see people saying this, but man the TES series is one of my all time favourite game series, and I absolutely loved Fallout 3. The modding scene around those games helps to keep them relevant, but I love the base games too.

Fallout 4 will be amazing.

I'm completely sucked into the Witcher 3 right now. I've played so much in the last few days, the game is so huge. The number of quests, places of interest and the amount of lootable containers makes me wonder how Vinny is making out.

Once you understand the crafting/alchemy systems you realize obsessing over looting isn't needed and at some point you have to accept, the places of interest on the map are distracting from the real meat of the game which is the narrative driven quests, but based on passed conversations about this type of game, I wonder if Vinny will ever make it to main story quests.

Like a lot of Rockstar games, despite critiques(some reasonable, some hyperbolic), Bethesda games will still do extremely well and better than the majority of games even if some people consider them 'the worst.' Somebody likes those 'boring broken messes'. A lot of somebodies.

If Fallout 4 comes out this year, it'll be the best selling game in 2015. Otherwise, it'll probably be Battlefront(which will also have tons of issues). Either way,
it won't be Persona 5

The second area will put him off doing everything for points of interest
due to the overleveled markers with no kind of indications.
I found that more frustrating than guiding though. Possibly not CDPR's fault and more of how I've been groomed by Ubisoft. But also CDPR's fault because
I've found a two amazing Relic swords doing that stuff and that game's not great about giving you gear.

I've no doubt Fallout 4 will be quality. Hell I've put over 100 hours in New Vegas and over 200 into Skyrim. I love their games, especially with the mods available. But in spite of being vast as an ocean, they're only ankle deep. One is lead to believe and open world can either be huge or dense, but TW3 manages both on incredible levels. That's even taking into account the high quality of writing and vocal performances. But hopefully I get proven wrong in regards to Fallout 4.

And yeah, there's no way Vinny can just go all out Vinny once he gets to Velen. To many overleveled enemies and beasts. You really gotta stick to a few story quests and sidequests until you level up sufficiently. I remember within my first hour in Velen I came across no less than three large groups of level 9 and 10 bandits, level 14 monsters, the works. I was only level 5 so it sure as hell scared me back onto the main story path. Which is great because the stories for Keira and The Bloody Baron are impeccable.

I will never understand the "hire O' Dwyer" stuff given he has the best of both worlds right now (chilling with Gamespot and doing his thing but yet has ties with GB who are pretty much next door)

Fallout 3 was a really disappointing game for me and it was only redeemed by Obsidian making a real Fallout sequel with the components Bethesda built, and Zenimax almost managed to ruin that too.

I imagine it would be tremendously successful, but seeing the track record of Bethesda games it definitely will not be a game for me.

Are Danny's streams worth going back and watching? Figured they would be nice to have on in the background while I get some stuff done.

I have enjoyed all of them I have watched so far (Tokyo Jungle and Katamari) and am currently watching Chubbins which is the best so far.

Wrong about commas, wrong about everything
I don't want to tell Drew how to german but "Flugeinheit" doesn't really mean "missile"
I guess you could translate it to "flying unit".
Also "rockets" is not "arkaden" but "Raketen".

Write that down, I will quiz you about that later on.

The Beastie Boys are the first hip hop group in years to have something to say
When our german teacher taught us about "dicke bohne" when we were learning about frisches gemuse we all had a good chuckle.

Also, "Stahlhelm", not whatever he said. I was impressed that he knew "Donner", though.
