Nvidia have been pretty good about reference designs on their top range products. Is that one fan I'm seeing on the card? Can they cool this raging beast with a single fan?

You just ratified what I was saying, Witcher 2's benchmark is the X360 and then it has been scaled up for PC for different settings, they did not make the Uber Mode on the PC first and scale it down to the X360...

Star Citizen will also be developed keeping in mind a mid range PC not a $3000 graphic card and Witcher 3 will use the Xbone as a starting point I'd assume and then scale it up for the other machines...
Yep, that's marketing. Half lying.
This is the "790"
There are probably a few gaffers and if more tech-focused enthusiast forums are any indication there are a large contingent who wants to push it almost no matter the cost.Which market is this targeted for, anyways?
Introspection post? There are probably a few gaffers and if more tech-focused enthusiast forums are any indication there are a large contingent who wants to push it almost no matter the cost.

"This is a serious card built for serious gamers."Are they actually marketing it to gamers? Or is this a workstation type card?
"This is a serious card built for serious gamers."
But they totally should market it as a workstation card as well.
CAD is your work but you also love games? Well say no more...!
He's saying the 780tis would have better (gaming) performance. The laws of Physics tell us that you'll probably be able to run the 2 780 tis at higher clocks than the 2 chips on a single Titan Z.

3000 dollars? that is 6 million in colombian pesos, you can eat like a rich for a year with that money!
My old E6600 was a beast of a chip. Overclocked for days and lasted so long.I wonder if my Core 2 Duo can push this card. Hahaha
4k Gaming on this thing should be amazing. This will probably be able to output graphics that could compete with the PS5!
Will AMD respond with an AEUG card?
Will the successor be ZZ?
Will I keep making Gundam jokes?
So the card launches in early April.
Makes me wonder what 8TF would be worth by the time the next consoles come around (which still most likely will not feature 8TF GPU given the heat to size to power consumption ratio constraints).

THREE THOUSAND DOLLARS?!
This has to be for professionals, right? RIGHT?
So the card launches in early April.
What this means is the PC gaming public, after hearing about this, is not going to want to purchase The GTX Titan Z, nor will they purchase any of Nvidia's GPUs. This is HUGE. You can laugh all you want, but Nvidia has alienated an entire market with this move.
