I believe you can go into free mode and set the enemy AI accordingly.thetrin said:Outside of the mission mode, is there are an offline practice mode to get acclimated to the game before hopping online?
Thanks man! It's been quite the task getting all the relevant information together in an easy-to-understand format, especially with the language barrier!Urban Scholar said:Sweet donkey show
The Hayabusa clan would be proud. :3TreIII said:I suppose the hardest thing for me, going into this game, will be choosing a whole new set of mains for my stable. Because beyond Master (whose cost has been raised, so I may not pick him as often as I do in Next+) and Virsago CB, most of my go-tos like Epyon, Virtue, Shining and GP03 are gone now.
Though, I thought I saw that GP01 does have an Izuna Drop now, right...? :lol

In order to save space and not make the OT an image dump, I'm just linking to bigger images (they don't link to anything just yet). I'll add the arcade notations to the arcade control pic as well since I've already done so with the PS3 controls. The wife's been really kind in helping me translate a bit of this as well, but of course big thanks to those who are already contributing. =)[/QUOTE]
Excellent work on translating the images! This is actually all the info I'd need to decide on whether or not to pick up this game.
Good stuff. I also dislike image dumps but in a case like this I think it is super useful to have these translations. It will help out a lot of people.donkey show said:Still working on it, but here's a little teaser of the control scheme translation:

I'm thinking about it. Dunno quite yet considering I don't necessarily want to mess with the Pedostick anytime soon. Maybe with my HRAP... hmmm.ds, are you going to make custom stick art for this game?
Yeah, it's been rather tough going back and forth getting the proper translations, but people here and the wife have been helping me out a lot with them.Good stuff. Kinda in the sense that it is very much a battle arena type fighting, but on a grander scale. EXVS is 2v2 team battling and there's a bigger focus on melee versus VO.Sorry for dumb question but does this play like Virtual On?
There are only three console specific units on top of the original arcade units, so not really. But yeah, all the televised/movie/OVA series are covered with some manga sidestories in Crossbone and Seed Astray. There were not this many suits in the arcade version right? It seems like every series in represented in this! I must have it!!
Green homing?
Pretty sure that isn't in the game. In most cases that, would definitely simply be a glitch.
AI commands are the same as Next

Awesome commercial.
Anyway, I should have that basic move list translated by Thursday, in time for the official thread to go up. I have the 1000s done already just got the others to do. It's a basic list of what moves are mapped to what buttons and no descriptions though, lol.
Made this last night for the OT:
It just dawned on me that the Sentinel isn't in this game. Strange, it usually gets so much love from a vast majority of other Gundam games (namely the G Generation titles). Maybe it will end up being a DLC suit.
:lol
This is right up there with the "Destiny is something we ALL must deal with..." series for me.
Do you guys think the game will reduce in price to (60 to 40 dollars) after its released. 100 dollars is a bit expensive for an import or any game for me. :\

Probably not. The lowest price you'll get is around $80 for the asian version (same exact game though): http://www.play-asia.com/Mobile_Suit_Gundam_Extreme_VS/paOS-13-71-bp-49-en-70-4ddf.html
only other option is to wait a long time for it to be rerelease as the BEST version. it'll still be 60 dollars and you'll be waiting for awhile
Will that include all DLC suits? How long of a wait are we looking at 6 months to a year?
That is tempting. Will the Japanese DLC suits work on it?

Didn't one of the Tales games have DLC available for the Japanese version but not for the Asian one?I don't see any issue of the Asian version not accepting JP DLC considering they're the same game, but you never know with Scamco... even if it is free.

Question to people in this thread who have pre-ordered this title. Did you use rush shipping (EMS, FedEX, UPS, etc) or regular air mail?
I used EMS. I figured I'm already spending nearly $100 so what's another $20 for rush shipping...
