Now what's the next step in your master plan?
If Don Freecs is hanging around the Dark Continent which is an even higher threat ranking than the Chimera Ants I'm guessing he is OP as fuck.

Or just really smart and lucky

I don't think you can stay that smart and lucky for hundreds of years in a place like the DC. That alone is a dead give away he's not normal as even Netero wasn't that ancient. Then again maybe his Nen power is super luck which wouldn't be at all surprising knowing Togashi.

Runs in the family
Gon is going to grow up as a deadbeat to his and Killua's or Palms
kid
I thought we all agreed that Gon is future Uvogin? Still gonna be a deadbeat though.

I mean Squala outlived a ton of people during Yorknew soooo...

How would luck as a hatsu work? Would have to be a Nen-genius, aka the people that are just born with Nen and use it passively/without realizing it, cause I doubt anyone, even specialists could just go and "Oh I know I will manipulate luck"

If its possible to come up with it'd probably would involve a lot of weird conditions.

Knov's Nen ability breaks time and space so its not like we haven't seen crazy shit like that before.

I'll give this four leaf clover life...

It doesn't really break time, but I think as a concept coming up with a pocket dimension seems less abstract than manipulating luck.
Could always just use the subtleties of nen to tweak very minute things to the point where everything always works in their favor.
It's bullshit but i believe it

The closest thing would be something like Kite

there is also the dart nen those ants have
That Nen fish dart fight was great.

Yeah, but Kite wasn't really manipulating luck itself, the random chance of drawing a different weapon was part of the condition to make his ability stronger. He wasn't manipulating chance of things outside of his control, but the random chance of something happening in a contained situation.

We have seen a lot of abstract Nen, like Lion/Ant surfer's dude, which works on the condition that the target "owes" him a favor, which is very arbitrary, but one can see one that would work as doesn't really have to depend on forces that are uncontrollable.

Again, I am not saying is impossible, but one of the key aspects of Nen is that people can create their own ability based on their personality, nen proficiency and other aspects, but almost every nen we have seen has been something that makes sense as something one can create or control.

The exception are the Nen-geniuses which don't quite work within the same rules, but everyone we've seen so far that is a nen-genius didn't come up with their own power and were just born that way.

Could always just use the subtleties of nen to tweak very minute things to the point where everything always works in their favor.

Yeah this is what I mean, for it to be possible it would probably involve something akin to lines of code, or algorithm based, but I still can't figure out how one would make it to work.

A lucky-powered Stand makes a lot of sense in JoJo cause people really don't build/create their stands and everything is beautiful bullshit in JoJo anyway.

Rohan stopped a truck from running his ass over cause of posing. Nothing is impossible in HxH. Man won a fight because he got his opponent to choke to death on stagnant church air...

I don't think it's that humans can never beat them, they just more or less can't beat them without giving in to the deepest and darkest aspects of humanity. Gon beat Pitou...and well it pretty much killed him. Netero couldn't beat Meruem, humanities darkest creation killed him. The Troupe can kill Chimera Ants, just not the ones on the level of the Royal Guard.

Sure, i was talking about them specifically.
Of course the lower tier are not invincible to humans, we have many examples of that.

Or just have a very versatile Nen (or of another nature) ability that allowed him to avoid direct confrontations. Don't forget that not even all the treaths from the DC are necessarily power based.

Maybe the Phantom Troupe would be able to make peace with the Royal Guard over a game of cards?
Youpi would just flip after getting the tenth +2 the table and go nuclear
Pouf would too impatient considerng dumb human things
Pitou might actually sit down and play

So pretty much Hisoka is now nothing more than a husk of a human being being kept alive by a throbbing Nen fueled fight boner?
He is a guy who refused to die and knowing hisoka probably depending how it worked.

The nen was just a defibrillator right he should be fine albiet with shit ton of injuries.

Well Togashi does read Jojo so him getting a Buccellatti special makes sense, granted Hisoka isn't a zombie.

I wonder, if Hisoka were to completely run out of Nen, would the missing body parts he recreated with both the property of rubber and gum also disappear?

If Hisoka wasn't so proud, he'd just have Machi properly fix him and avoid that risk. I don't see anything stopping him from having a body enchanced by rubber with a normal, healthy body.

I think he just get's off on the pain. He's a total sadomasochist. That's why I assumed he was fine with his injuries. He didn't get them fixed because he likes it that way lol.

Really hope to see Hisoka's true mug again too. Dude is straight-up haunting now.

I'm not sure it works but I'm assuming its something like a Nen beast where once the Nen has... uhh manifested(?) it doesn't need to be actively maintained. It just is at that point. Or something.

This is essentially Bisky vs Binolt...
"But that pure nature could be your undoing..." Bisky fucking knew about Gon from the get go, damn. God damn that sleep training rock fucked Gon's head up. So far my favorite parts of Greed Island are the training sessions with Bisky-Chama. She's like Genkai, but sweeter.
Ep 64: Genthru really does have Killer Queen.

Oh right him. another character you would think would be important than killed off but he deserve it for trying to backstab them

I forgot about that Nen beast usage in Greed Island...gross. How strong is Razor supposed to be? Even Phinks was a little shook.
Ep 66:

Everybody else: "I wannabe a Hunter"
Killua: "How bout nuh"

Past week and a half I've been burning through episodes on Netflix (and then Crunchyroll). Just finishing up the Chimera Ant arc. Big gut punch.

So what issue of the manga do I need to jump to after finishing up the anime?

Oh! Episode 66. Here's a couple things:

There's a brief moment where Gon shows off the results of his training to Killua, having returned from the exam - demonstrating his actual Janken Scissors technique by using it on a stem of a plant

latest

(A manga panel which I can't find shows the transmuted nen-blade better. But, it's just about no longer than a butter knife here)

Also

When Kil beats that house full of traps/obstacles to rescue the gold-dust girl, he then says to that one guy "They were traps? I thought they were attractions." before sending him flying Team Rocket style

Oh my god that screen cap is hilarious. I keep forgetting to watch the hunterpedia stuff. Would have been nice to see Gon show off the scissors as well.
