If Lightning gets a catgirl outfit, make it so that it changes all her voice acted lines to variations of "Nya~"
Noel is kind of weak compared to Serah and Caius and 'em.
I'd personally love a narrative focusing on Noel and the aftermath of what happened at the end of the last game, but obviously SE doesn't want to give me what I would be interested in.YoungBlade said:B...but... Noel...

Just like how they don't want to give me Bravely Default. (((
This is the first time I've ever seen someone favor Serah over Noel. We're talking about them as characters, right?

Hey, I would pay to see Male characters showing more skin...
Primarily Snow.
Not Hope tho
Fuck Hope.
This is what we have become, evidently. -_-Did you not read his post about paying to see female characters showing skin?
I don't necessarily think he was bland, but at least he was more down to earth than a few of the other FF13 characters, and that's what I enjoyed the most about his characterization and role in the narrative. Him giving Snow a piece of his mind and saying everything I thought of the character was rather lovely.Absolutely. I didn't care much for Serah in the first one, probably because she was in a crystal for 75% of the game, but in the sequel she really became her own unique character and I liked that. Noel was ok most of the time but he was annoying during certain parts of the game, especially with his fit against my boi Snow. I did like his relationship with Serah and Mog and his relationship with Caius and Yeul though but I don't think I could handle a game with only him as protagonist. Serah balance out his blandness a bit.
EDIT: Well maybe I could deal with a Noel only game as long as Mog is with him.
And with his Sexy Hairdo in XIII-2 it's probably a better idea to make DLC for him and now Lightning.Snow probably got a body fit for a Real Man.

It's like your girlfriend trying a new recipe for dinner one night and you don't particularly like it, but whatever. Then she makes it again the next night, and the next. Then she swaps out your bag lunch for work with leftovers of that recipe and it gets to the point where you just have to dump your girlfriend.
Sorry SE, it's not me--it's you. I'll holla atcha when you have something to say about Versus, maybe.

And Mog is gosh darn annoying. No thank you.

cat girls?
It's going to be reallyinterestingdepressing to see what these 20-30 outfits are
Contrarily to your viewpoint I thought that Serah was the bland one, with an agreeable personality but not a particularly strong one, and that Mog was a pretty throwaway character.

Is this today's SE bashing thread?
I laughed.Yes, but this time we have proof.
Ah, I see. I personally couldn't stand Snow in either game. To me he was all brash thickheadedness -- sincere, sure, but with little of the charm which comes with the archetype -- and so Noel's more level-headed approach, especially when he lost his temper with Snow, definitely resonated with me. I do agree that Serah and Noel had a nice dynamic. Interesting, though, how polar our reactions were on the individual characters.
What I liked most about Serah and Noel is how platonic their relationship is. Rarely do you find a pairing of a male and female character not ending up in some sort of romantic situation halfway through or by the end of the game. They felt like just two buddies on an adventure and I appreciated that.
apparently the trailer being played in JumpFesta is a bit different from the English one.

You'll see it soon.
I see you teasing me Kagari. If the difference is not basically being in japanese I will be happy.

Given the responses in this thread, I'm not sure if that should necessarily be taken as a positive. There's a bit more to it. aibo says there's more town area shown.

Is aibo the guy from ffreunion? Also when (if) they release this trailer?

aibo is a she, and yes. The trailer should be out soon, I'll put up the thread when it is.
True, but overreact now and what then?
The message you are sending is spend the maximum effort on the trailer because your audience can't tell the difference between pre-release and final-release materials.
Not really productive is it?
I wonder if the trailer is different enough to change opinions from this thread.

I just want to see the Japanese one. Maaya does a better job as Lightning at least.
Yeah, I definitely appreciated this. It happens all too often in otherwise compelling character relationships.
Truth. Am I correct when I say the JP script was better as opposed to the NA one?
-_-I would pay for outfits that makes the characters show more skin. DoA5 is killing my wallet right now.
