Even so, If hes healthy (big if, unfortunately) hes going to hit 40+ homers, that will account for enough RBI. and he gets on base to score 80 runs.

At some point, stanton will be a top 3 player in baseball.

I'm satisfied with my Serious Fox team. Starting pitching choices turned to crap a lot sooner than I thought they would. All the injuries hurt the depth. Bartolo don't fail me now!

Yeah. I didn't keep Bumgarner because hey, tons of pitching. Only to see this league raid starting pitching like there was no tommorrow. Also wtf at all the closers being drafted that early.

Fuck off? He'd only be giving away one season of free agency in exchange for lifetime security. Considering he's going to make the league minimum for three seasons, he basically turned down a 4-year/$21 million contract for his arb years + one year of free agency. That's not a slap in the face.

i've been begging for over 5 years.
Some good news on Chapman laceration and contusion above his left eye but didn't lose consciousness Reds are reporting. Could have been a lot worse.

Brandon McCarthy didn't lose consciousness either... he needs a CT scan before we know he's out of the woods. I'm hoping for the best.

Not many pitchers got kept, really. Pitching is a lot easier to get than hitting. I don't think any of the aces got kept outside of Darvish and Kershaw.

I had a dream that Cliff Lee got injured on the mound to the point where when trainers asked him what was wrong, all he would do is sob and say, "I can't," over and over again. Think it was a rib strain if my memory serves me correctly.

Chapman probably out for a long time after that liner smashed him in the face last night. Really sickening sound. I fear it will be career-ending. Not because of the injury necessarily, but psychologically will prevent him from ever being the same.

My prediction is we won't see Chapman until after the All-Star break.

I don't agree. He's a tough guy and already reported to be cracking jokes about it.

But you always seem to be pessimistic about the Reds so I'm not surprised.
