-One where you can use the analogue
-And one with "full blown wii remote freedom".
Okay, I hope to God that they haven't issued a basic analogue control scheme just because they tacked on 'full blow Wii remote' controls, and didn't bother making them 'perfect'.

Animaniac said:Damnit. Now I'll have to wait till the ports are released to see which is the definate version. I hate waiting thought so I'll probably end up getting the Wii version and then the Xbox 360 version later when I find out the controls are just as good and the graphics are much better. Curse you Sega! *shakes fist*

I think both. You can play as Elliot, the boy or... the girl (don't remember her name) and nights is just the same IIRCHarvey Hedonist said:That character is a he? Serious question.
I've never played Nights and look forward to seeing what all the excitement is about. Looks pretty goofy though...

BGBW said:Most of this you already know:
-Two control options- traditional controls are designed for those who were happy with the original.
-Takashi Izuka is happy that he has several members of the original team with him; Mr Hoshino (Art Director) and Mr Hataya (Music Director).
-"I wanted to preserve the NiGHTS experience for those loyal fans as well as take the opportunity to introduce NiGHTS to players who have never played it before.

-The hardcore following will not put off newcomers.
-Takashi Izuka is happy that he has several members of the original team with him; Mr Hoshino (Art Director) and Mr Hataya (Music Director).
-The New staff "have a passionate desire for the original NiGHTS game and are enthusiastic in creating the sequel." Izuka adds "This is a big plus for our team!"
-WiiConnect24 used for item trading, speculated to involve the A-Life system.
-Two player action. Izuka wants "the game to be able to bring the family together both through story and gameplay".
-"I wanted to preserve the NiGHTS experience for those loyal fans as well as take the opportunity to introduce NiGHTS to players who have never played it before.
-The team of NGamer dream of a DS game without Mic blowing minigames.

Well there are 14 images used in the article, some I recognise, some I think are new. However one image looks like it's concept art rather than in in game shot. Another I don't recognise is what could be the children's bedroom, but again this could just be concept art.Nakasan said:Thanks for the update BGBW!! Not asking you to scan tham but, are there any new pictures?

But yeah, I have to say my confidence in the motion controlling aspect of this game is shattered.
I have a feeling this was developed with the analog stick in mind (which is not a bad thing) and that the motion controls might feel tacked-on.
Darunia said:your confidence is shattered? We haven't even read impressions or seen gameplay vids. Let's just hold out on the premature judging

Magicpaint said:Oh, I'm not judging, I'm just now wary of the motion controls because I find it hard to believe that they'll both be well implemented. I feel like one of them has to be an afterthought with the other being the fundamental scheme the game was designed around. I just hope I'm wrong because the prospect of a fully fledged NiGHTs with motion controls had me really excited initially.
Segata Sanshiro said:Yep, way back when we started hearing the rumblings on this, I said that I hoped for the art director and composer to come back, and they are. I'm feeling very good about this game already.
I'm hoping this year is the start of Sega turning their shit around. They hit a low point last year with Sonic Next-Gen. This year is going better so far. I was playing Panzer Dragoon Orta last night and I was bloody depressed at how quickly Sega went from the most brilliant devs in the business to a godamn joke.Nakasan said:Yes, I do recall. Just me or is there a slight SEGA Renaisance going on? Id LOVE to think so. What with this, the other classics aparently about to be renewed and Sega Rally, Virtua Fighter and SATSR (come onnnnnn, solid title), SEGA is developing very SEGAish games once again.
Question; NGamer is out on the 25th in theory, and I know subscribers getting it early isn't unusual, but THIS early surely is? Can we expect to see it in the shops this weekend?

I usually get it five or four days early, but that could be from living down the road from my local sorting office.Nakasan said:Question; NGamer is out on the 25th in theory, and I know subscribers getting it early isn't unusual, but THIS early surely is? Their internal R&D for consoles/handhelds does seem to be thinning slightly, but moreso I think we're just seeing projects aimed at DS owning Japanese kids...PepsimanVsJoe said:Main problem I have with Sega is they really aren't making any games right now. Aside from this and a few others I don't see much of anything on the horizon.
