Is there a link to the stream on Nintendo's website? Their streams normally work better for me than on ustream.

Looks like 3DS software price will be around PSP software price level. Make sense and understandable.
I expect a lot of them to be $39.99 and some even $49.99 at launch. Many PSP games were $49.99 at launch too. Give it 9-12 months and all will be down to $39.99 top.

I never really cared much about the system price as you only pay for it once.

The price of the games matters much more to me.

Currently, 3DS 25000 yen is $301. It would be historically unique for them to price it a whole $50 cheaper here.

Given the information provided, we can deduce that at the time of each system's release =

1 USD DS = 102.73 yen
1 USD DSL = 115.06 yen
1 USD DSi= 110.20 yen
1 USD DSi XL = 89.01 yen
1 USD 3DS = 83.06 yen

so if the biggest gap so far was when the yen was at it's strongest. It would then mean a price difference bigger than $35 is actually very possible for the 3DS, if not more so.

I'm well aware economics don't function like this. But this is just proof that such a comparison is futile to begin with.

It looks like the Kid Icarus trailer, explaining where Pit has appeared. Don't get excited :lol

EDIT:

It even has the same "illustrated character popping up in the corner" look as the KI screens released on Sakurai's blog, except with Pit instead of Palutena.

DOUBLE-DECKER EDIT:

Not to mention the Japanese logo and artwork for KI:U along the banner above...
