You shouldn't have any problem going back a few days. But then it would probably be good to time travel ahead day by day when you are finished so a favorite animal neighbor doesn't move out - just go to their house and make sure they haven't packed any boxes. Also water any flowers you want to save that are wilted each day. You will also get a few days of weeds when you make it back to the present as well. But it's not going to glitch your game.d+pad said:Dammit, I totally screwed up the Harvest Festival. Will I mess anything up if I, er, time travel, get the furniture and then time travel back to the present time? I don't want to wait a whole year

Only middle aged women can playing AC apparently.
When you start up the game, it will ask if you want to start over fresh, or if you want to bring along your DS briefcase (or something like that).Valtox said:Sorry guys,
I have a question for who owns the game.
How do you connect your DS village to the Wii version?
Do you tranfer everything before starting a new game on Wii, or you can do it even later in the game?
I'd be glad to connect my old save on the DS, but I don't have the cart with me now.
So I'd like to know what to do before starting the game on 12/5 when it come to EU.
It would be boring having to start all over again to get my full DS inventory.
Thanks

I was working on separate parts using the free edit tool, but now that I've got them how I want them it seems I need to recreate them in a Pro design session.D-Pad said:You can edit the regular design in the tailor and then drag the main pattern to another part of the shirt to copy it, if that's what you mean?

For the DS briefcase, the game tells you to put the game in your DS, and then turn on the system. Don't start up the game, it'll tell you to go into DS Download to download the program City Folk sends. It will get your character info (you choose which character if you have more than 1 on your DS game) and then send it to City Folk. None of your info from Wild World is damaged or altered, you'll still be able to play as the character you sent to City Folk.
When you move into town in City Folk, you'll have your DS character's looks, hair and face. You will also have your 'Nook's Catalogue' available from the Tom Nook in City Folk.
The Catalogue won't be as complete as the one from the DS version, unbuyable items from the Wild World Nook won't even be listed with the City Folk Nook - stuff like gyroids, fossils, and special seasonal furniture. Anything that was listed as 'Not For Sale'. Also paintings won't be listed either.
However, if you donated to Boondocks in Wild World and got those feathers they send, you'll be able to buy them from Nook in City Folk.
Hope that helps.
I don't think there is any way to combine 4 seperate designs into a pro-design. You'll probably just have to pick the most complex pattern and make that a pro-design so you don't have to re-create that, then redo the other 3 pieces.JoshuaJSlone said:I was working on separate parts using the free edit tool, but now that I've got them how I want them it seems I need to recreate them in a Pro design session.
There are some new furniture pieces and whole sets - but it's mixed in with all the previous furniture from the past two games. So not everything is new - same with clothes. There are also new bugs/fish/fossils/paintings - but again, they are mixed in with the old stuff. So you WILL be doing a lot of the same collecting as before.SnakeswithLasers said:I don't really want to go through this whole thing, so sorry if this has been answered before.
Does this game have a lot of new stuff from the other games? My gf played the GC and DS versions into the ground but thinks she wants to pass on this one because it doesn't add anything new. Is that true? Is the furniture new? Clothes? Fossils/fish? Or is it just the same exact game but with a city added in (that basically just puts all of the fun scheduled visitors into a static place)?
It's preeeetty close to Wild World. The OP says there are 25% new items, but most will look very familiar. The city doesn't completely replace the regular visitors, though. Wendell still comes around looking for fish, and I haven't figured out what this beaver who will show up, talk, and float down the river is all about.SnakeswithLasers said:I don't really want to go through this whole thing, so sorry if this has been answered before.

Koomaster said:Not every visitor is in the city; Wendel, Sahara, and Pascal still come to town that I've seen, and I assume Chip will be back for fishing competitions. And you'll get seasonal visitors back that were in the gamecube; plus there was reports of a new one for around Easter time.
Once you visit someone's town (or vice-versa), you'll be able to send them letters through the post office, which can include items. That's about it. Animals will sometimes mention specific other cities, but that's not interaction.poppabk said:Because of the time difference we will rarely be online at the same time, what non-instantaneous interaction is there?
Will people in their 20s like this game? Really depends. I've got a friend who somehow turned his aunts and even grandma into item-trading Animal Crossing Wild World nuts. Will people in their 60's like this game?

Wow, this pic is pretty sinister looking with the dark clouds and the castle, then the weirdness of all the peaches all over the ground. :lolLord Helmet said:I haaaaaateeee peaches.... must destroy all native fruits.
