Well, I finished the pre-load on my PS4, but it only wants to download 6.16 GB out of 41.12. I suppose the rest can't be downloaded until launch?

Wow, that looks shockingly good for 360. Haven't watched the PS3 footage, but I'm curious why some folks are saying that version looks really bad, odd that there would be a big disparity.

No, there's something wrong.

That's the point of a pre-load, to download pretty much everything. Then come at launch, download the unlock portion of it which is very small.

If I'm correct then it's gonna be the same as PlayStation's feature where it downloads the 1st chapter/part along with necessary files to get you to start playing it and will download the rest as you play.

But in this case it should just download the whole game immediately as one cannot play it.

Select AW tile on XMB -> Options Button -> Information or Details and see if it's downloading or not. It should appear X.XXGB/41GB on the download status.

I can't wait till Monday and just need that cod itch. Even if I'm watching.

You download that 7 GB then it has a larger download that's combined.

Hit options on the game and click information. You should see 6gb / 42 gb and it steadily going up. You chose to download either the single player or multiplayer first. That was the only part it shows you downloading via the download notifier tool. Everything else is downloaded in the background.

It shouldn't. It should continue (that was the whole point to their conferences). I find it slows down with PS3, but it all depends on your internet connection. It should keep going. The option to download the campaign or multiplayer were for those purposes. One would download while the other was running. TLoU did something like that, factions or the campaign would load while you played.

I say that because I use DSL and sometimes it takes longer than other connections. I can still do both.

I have X mapped to my left paddle and O mapped to the right paddle. So if I keep the default control scheme for CoD, I will be jump/boosting with the left and slide/droppig to prone with my right paddle. Makes it incredibly easy to keep your aim dead on while jumping or dropshotting. Or I could go with the tactical control scheme and O would become melee/knife while clicking R3 would be slide/prone. I'll have to test it out when AW comes out. This controller is going to be my FPS controller. I have 2 normal DS4s for everything else.

I wish we still had OTs before launch...I like consolidated hype and info. I am super tempted to buy this game, but with Sunset, Destiny and MCC coming out I'll be swamped. How are the maps looking so far? Good snow maps? Are there more small maps?

Well I preordered. First time ever preordering a COD. Don't really know why I'm doing it. I loved BO1 and 2 and people saying the gunplay feels like BO2 was enough I guess.

I have only seen random posts confirming that you can unlock a standalone Zombie mode, nothing concrete. But the fact that most rumours come in relation to this exo survival video... I would keep my hype down for the time being.

I kind of feel like I'm ready for another COD. The problem is I know that itch will be scratched after about a week.
However, if they put back in 3v3 team tactical (not that 4 a side nonsense - what was the point in that?) I would be sorely tempted.

holly fuck there is some congestion on the EU/AU servers, i downloaded the driveclub update in mins, the CoD update same size says more than another 20. and the game its self the 7GB part you DL first 81Hrs. and its not my internet and not downloading anything else. its going at less than 0.1mb per sec. its been going for its been going for almost 90 mins and only downloaded 175MB

Yeah that's why I'm a bit worried because I'm only interested if it has a full zombie mode!

My PS3 and PS4 are in different rooms, so it's kind of cool for me. I'll probably never play the PS3 version but it's nice to know I can if I ever get the itch.

You can definitely tell that the textures, resolution, and particle effects have taken a hit in the 360 version, which is to be expected.

Yeah, mine was pulling 2MB/s, it's only pulling .01MB/s right now. I have a pretty decent 12Mb hardwired connection (that I installed myself).

Yeah i know but i would rather save my money for a PS4 plus i don't know if this game is any good yet, gonna wait for the gaf consensus. Now to wait for a PS4 sale down here in Chile....

Yeah i expected it but it still looks rough, the problem is that PS3 version is probably gonna be worse just like in past times.

glad im not the only one getting shit speeds. hope they fix it soon, it seems to be only the CoD pre-load other stuff ive updated at normal speeds.

I didn't know you could only pre order the limited editions online. By the time I went to pre order in store it was already sold out online. Now I have to get to BB early on the 4th hoping they have extra copies in store.

I would buy it from somewhere else if I wasn't a GCU member.
