I hope driveclub keeps doing well, game is awesome now. Best racer i've played in a long time.
A super high budget game with 4 years in development selling bad everywhere (and not only in europe as it did less than half million in npd), so yeah I think it's over for the ip. however I can see EA moving the team to work on Star Wars RPG or new ip now.
So how bundled is driveclub anyways in uk?
I fear for Witcher 3 as it also a major RPG with MS advertising deal and 3rd game in the series with bonus being from a small developer and a niche series

Bundles?
Do you think Dragon Age would have sold better if it was advertised by Sony ?

Lol that's what I'm saying. Sony doesn't even advertise it's own games.Do you think Dragon Age would have sold better if it was advertised by Sony ?
I think DA:I would have done better if it was advertised at all. I haven't seen any promotion for it anywhere.

Given the massive sales split in favour of the PS4, and the lack of adverts it got from MS, it certainly wouldn't have hurt
I'm so disheartened by this news. Game really came out of left field for me and I've been hooked since launch. Currently taking a break from it to wrap up Bayonetta 2 and Donkey Kong TF but will return when I start my two week break from work.
I wonder why it's bombed the way it has. Does this set a bad precedent for The Witcher 3 and other WRPG's or do you guys reckon it's more to do with the timing of the release? Same general week as GTAV and AC probably wasn't the best idea.
I would say MS should have provided more in this deal but EA fucked it up overall.
DA:I performance has nothing to do with being advertised by MS, the game came out in a period full of games far more popular and mainstream than it. COD, Far Cry, Assassins Creed, Pokemon, GTA, Halo etc. It was never going to sell more than these games. Ever.
TW is a PC franchise and will sell the most on the PC, so don't worry about it.
Fantasy games aren't very easy to market.
They tend to look extrememly dull from the outside in, and they're certainly not games for everyone.
It was never going to chart well.
i dont know man friends were asking me if DA:I was xbox xclusive due the online ads.

Yet it still sold 79% of it's copies on the PS4...

I wonder if Dragon Age character design is also a reason because it's seriously repulsive.

Anecdotal means nothing...facts are it sold way more on ps4.

I'm really worried what this means for Mass Effect's development. DA:I is arguably the best thinh bioware has done for while, and this bomb may suggest to EA higher ups that more linearity may be the way to go =[.

ME is more of a third person action/shooter game then RPG, it is much more mainstream and casual.
Except your wrong and they do, heck look at the massive marketing push they gave destiny...Uncharted will be pushed hard, as well some of there other games..
Right, its good to see it dont care its bundle or not.
I bet in Spain will happen the same. It's been heavily announced on TV.
Edit: Also, wow @ The Sims 4 so low, looks like it bombed hard.
Wat. Where are you getting this number from?
Mass Effect is already mainstream as fuck. Nothing to worry about there.
Cross posting.
While it is good to see. I think there's reason to care. That it took them bundling it so heavily to get the game some sales, suggests the IP might not be able to stand on its own and that's a worry for its long term success and viability as a new IP.
PC gamers seem to prefer digital distribution these days, so The Sims 4's low position should not be a big surprise.
On here from a week or two back. Although now I think about it was more likely 69% (think I got 69% and ~70% confused) on PS4. I'll try and track it down quickly.

I wonder why Just Dance isn't selling as much on other platforms, like Xbox One (remember when Kinect was always included?) or 360. Everyone thinks of it as a Wii game.
Destiny was all Activision. Sony just paid for that thing at the end talking about PS4 and the DLC.

Dragon Age : Inq
PS 4: 43%
X1: 30%
X360 : 12%
PS 3: 6%
PC: 9%
I see what you are saying but I cant agreed, bundles are nothing new at all even the most biggest IPs have them.Cross posting.

umm no...sony also did a lot of ads for the game, and even stated they treated it like a first party title.
