My only experience with "Mahjong" was the Mahjong Titans that came with Vista. Which apparently isn't the real thing either.

Vib Ribbon was only released for PSONE in Japan and Europe.

That is, the only NTSC-version of vib ribbon that exists are in Japanese since the European version is PAL.

The PAL version would rape American SD-TV owners.

Surely the boat with SSF2THD has been well and truly missed by Capcom or SCEE at this point. The real deal is out in a month. The game must be fully translated since the Live version is out, so... whut.

That's the way I see it too. I was going to get it to tide me over for SF4 but it's really not worth it now. -1 sale for capcom

I would play good money for a real mahjong game on psn.

Mahjong is pretty fun to play, but having to explain the scoring to people would take forever and cause them to shut it off. I mostly enjoyed the few games I've played because they were with friends who also didn't know much, and we all just went for whatever and damn the consequences.

Im not sure why it's usually so different in computer games, though.

Apparently, the mahjong that Westerners are familiar with is actually called mahjong solitaire or something like that.

I have PoP Classic on XBLA and I enjoyed what I played, I prefer it over the original since it's easier to control.

Haven't actually beaten it, so I couldn't tell you much, but I'll answer a few things:

1. No trophies
2. Besides the main story, it has a time attack mode and a survival mode, so that adds some replay value. It also has leaderboards for fastest times and for each different modes.
3. Length-wise, you have a one hour time limit I believe it was. This was how the game was originally designed.
